On the way to my flat Louis and I made sure to avoid crowded areas and managed to make it to the house without anyone recognizing Louis. I unlocked the door to Lucy's and mine apartment and showed Louis into our small hallway. I was very aware of the fact that Louis Tomlinson had just entered my flat and cursed myself for leaving it in such a messy stage.

While Louis took off his shoes, I tried to clean up some of the clothes and shoes lying on the ground. "Don't worry about it, love" said Louis when I unsuccessfully tried to squeeze a huge amount of scarfs and beanies into the small drawer next to the door. "I've seen far worse!" He added with a grin. "Okay then" I got up and tried to hide the blush on my cheeks. "Welcome to the Foster-Gill-Residence!" With a wide gesture I led Louis into the small living room.

Louis looked around the place interested. "This place is amazing!" He said with a broad smile on his face. He turned to me. "Okay now, who is this Gill girl? Is this your flatmate Lucy?" I nodded and opened the window to let in some fresh air. "That's her but I'm pretty sure she is out." I let my eyes wander around our small living room with the brown sofas and the tiny TV. I looked at Louis and shrugged. "I know it's not much but it's affordable and it's home." I said and gestured at the room and felt my cheeks blush again. God, what must Louis be thinking? My small place was a joke compared to his house.

Louis was at my side in a matter of seconds. "Abby, don't be embarrassed! As I said, I think this place is amazing! Just because it's not very spacious or modern it doesn't mean that it can't be as good as a million pound pent house. This is who you are and I wouldn't have it any other way." I felt myself blush even more but Louis wasn't finished. "Besides, do you honestly believe I grew up in a castle? I grew up in a small house as well and I would live in a similar place right now if it weren't for our band." He gave me a smile and pushed a strand of hair out of my face. "You worry too much, love." I was just about to decide that Louis was probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met when he added with a cheeky grin "Well, to be fair, your telly is a bit of a joke." I gasped in fake dismay and placed a hand over my heart. "You wound me, Tommo!"

Louis chuckled and looked around the flat. "Where would you like me to put your bag?" He asked and pointed at my backpack which was still dangling off his left shoulder. "If you could place it into my room that would be great!" I said and guided Louis to my bedroom. It was still dark because I had forgotten to open my curtains when I left for work earlier this morning. Careful not to stumble over anything lying on the floor I walked over to my desk and cleared some space on the floor besides it. "You can just pop it down here." I told him and opened the curtains. Light flooded the room and shed some light on the few belongings of mine.

Louis put down my backpack and let his eyes wander across my room. It was a rather simple room containing only a bed and small nightstand, drawer, a bookshelf and my desk which was hardly to be seen under all my books and folders for my studies. I didn't have a lot of decoration on the walls because I liked it plain and without too many distractions. The only items which gave the room my personal note were framed photos on the window sill and my drawer and some drawings I had pinned on the wall.

Louis stepped closer and picked up on of the photos while I stood behind him slightly nervous. "Where was this taken?" Louis asked me and held up the photo. It showed me and a friend of mine on top of a mountain, rainforest and lakes in the background. I smiled at the memory. "That's in New Zealand, Fiordland National Park. A friend and I went on the Kepler Track, it's one of the Great Walks." "You've been to New Zealand?" Louis looked at me in surprise.
