A/N: hi guys! This is my first wattpad novel and I wanna give u guys some background on this story. I started writing this last year and all my friends were reading it and then I just kinda stopped working on it :( but then this year one of my friends asked me about it and other people were like 'yah write more' and I mean I love wattpad so I was kinda like 'hey, why don't I post T&G?' & HERE IT IS! Chapters are short but I will update hopefully everyday or a couple times a day to make up for it. So now, without further ado, I present to you.... Tyler and Ginnie! Thanks guys! (BTW, a lot of this is based on a true story)
Chapter One; English
Ginnie Matthews
Everyone was laughing. He was in front of the class singing. Every English when the teacher is late, Tyler gets up in front of everybody and sings. Everybody thinks we should be a couple. "Ginnie and Tyler". Would it be "Gyler"? Or "Tinnie"? Whatever. I guess he's kind of cute. I don't know. The classroom was colder than usual today, and I kept adjusting my sweater around my body to hug me tighter. The sounds of Tyler singing and everyone's laughter filled the air and made me once again question why teachers and parents always insist on the importance of school. I mean, seriously? What could I possibly be getting out of this?
Just then, my thoughts were interrupted by Ms. Bates walking into the room and asking everybody to be quiet. Tyler sat down across the room from me. I had a feeling he was looking at me, but I pretended not to notice. We were told to read silently while Ms. Bates went outside to talk to some other teachers. I was really into my book. It was a love story, my favorite. I was getting really into the story, when I heard Tyler's voice shouting across the room.
"Ginnie, will you go out with me?"
I felt a light blush tingling in my cheeks. He was probably joking, after all he was the class clown. I decided to pretend I couldn't care less.
"No." I said blankly, not even looking up from my book.
"Please? Want to go to a movie?" Tyler asked.
"No," I said again.
Everybody laughed (shocker!).
After class, my best friend Jessica confronted me. "Do you think he likes you?" she playfully squeezed my arm.
"Ugh, no. He's just joking! You take everything too seriously!" I pushed her away and walked down the hall to Social Studies.
