Chapter Thirty Six; Gods of Happy Camp

Ginnie Matthews

The bus ride home was uneventful, but frankly, that's just what I needed at the moment. I really like Bailey, I sat with her and Jess and she seems super cool. Jessica was a little sad because she was planning on breaking up with Oliver. She said it's what she has to do if she wants to completely leave this trip behind her. When she said that, she looked at Paige right after who was sitting with Olivia and Denise. Ew. I can tell Jessica has been pretty hurt over Paige. I mean, we've all been best friends since longer than I can remember, and I feel like she's trying to betray us for popularity. And insanity. And the 'friendship' of Olivia and Denise. Ew. I saw Oliver staring sadly at Jessica when we were leaving, he probably knows that she's gonna dump him. Poor kid. I still don't think Oliver did anything wrong, he was just trying to be there for me. I don't get why Jess and Tyler keep acting like he's a criminal. He's just a good friend. Maybe I can talk some sense into Jess, but I can't force her to date him. But I mean, they even LOOK cute together though. He's slightly taller than her, and they both have freckles on the bridge of their nose, and Jessica just seemed so HAPPY when he asked her out. Bummer. Between Paige and Oliver, Jessica just looks like she's going to pass out. I wish this weekend could have been simple. Sweet, and simple. I mean, I guess nothing positive could have come out of this dirt hole but seriously? Was any of this necessary? Why, oh why Happy Camp? Gods of Happy Camp if you are out there, what did any of us do to deserve this? Only the mean people are leaving unscathed, Olivia, Denise (ew).... And now, Paige. I meantally shudder. Well, at least now we know nothing can get even worse than it already is... Right???

A/N: ... Right???
