Chapter Twenty Seven; Three's a crowd... For friends

Jessica Andrews

When I arrived back at the cabin, I had been planning on yelling at Ginnie.I mean, I was absolutely DEVASTATED! But, when I walked in and saw her bunched in a ball crying, all my previous resolve faded away and all I could do was run up and hug her. "Aw, Gin, c'mere!" I exclaimed, wrapping my arms around her quivering body.

She hugged back. "It's okay, sh.." I whispered.

"Jessica! What the hell! Ginnie doesn't deserve your comfort! She's a little slut!" Paige appeared in the doorway.

Both Ginnie and I snapped our heads up in shock. "Paige! That's not true!" I found myself defending Ginnie.

"Yeah it is! EVERYONE knows it," she emphasized.

"Can I please get a freaking break?!?" Ginnie exclaimed.

"You already did, when you were all cuddled up next to Oliver," Paige sneered.

"You weren't even there, you have no clue what you're talking about!" Ginnie screeched.

"Yah, I was," Paige boasted.

"No you weren't! I know because I WAS ACTUALLY THERE!" I protested.

Ginnie's head spun towards me. Shoot. "Excuse me?" She asked.

I smiled shyly at her "yah, well, I was with Olivia and Denise and we were kinda spying on you," I confessed.

"They were there too? Who else was there?!" Ginnie looked on the verge of tears.

Paige smiled, why is she acting so evil all the sudden? "Tyler," I sighed, defeated.

Her eyes widened in shock, before she got up and ran out the door. But not before screaming an 'I hate you' over her shoulder, and then she was engulfed by the night.
