Oh, my god. Things could not be going any better! Ms. Bates literally just moved me next to Oliver! Time to kick things into action. Quickly, I skipped over to our new seats and sat down. I smiled sweetly at him but he didn't seem to notice. Trying to get his attention, I started crossing and uncrossing my legs, hoping the movement would catch his eye. It didn't. I tried clearing my throat and coughing. Finally, he looked over at me. "Are you okay?" He asked, clearly annoyed.
"Oh um, yeah. There was uh, something in my throat," I lied.
Without responding, he turned around and faced the front of the room again.
This might be harder than I thought.
"Oliver? Can you explain what's going on, I don't understand what we're learning about," I asked.
He turned towards me then sighed. "Ms. Bates hasn't even started teaching yet."
Oh. "Can I go to the restroom?" Oliver asked Ms. Bates.
"Oliver, this is highschool. You don't need to ask to go to the bathroom," Ms. Bates said, followed by a sarcastic eye roll.
I love Ms. Bates. She has literally managed the concept of sassiness. Maybe one day I could be like her....
Except richer. And prettier. And married to Oliver. Speak of the devil, Oliver was now getting up and leaving to go to the bathroom. Jeez, it almost seems like he doesn't want to sit next to me.
Almost...
Maybe he's just shy. Or... Tired. Or confused.
Probably the latter one. See? I know how guys think, and I can use it to my advantage. Take that, Jessica, because between you and me Oliver will DEFINITELY choose Popular Paige... The Princess.

A/N: short update, I know! I'm really excited though for the next half of the book. Tyler and Ginnie are finally together, we have a little Oliver love triangle, and Tanner and Bailey have a carnival date planned! Love you guys! Vote, read, comment, and share.
