Chapter Forty Four; Tyler and Ginnie

Ginnie Matthews

**Slowly, hesitantly, I stepped inside and closed the door behind me.**

I could feel Tyler's eyes on me as I turned around to face him. He shoved his hands in his pockets. "Hi," he said.

Hi? "Hi..." I responded.

This couldn't be anymore awkward. "So, Ginnie... I kind have something to say," he smiled shyly at me.

I waited for him to continue. "So you see, I like you. A lot, like I REALLY like you. Now, tell me if I'm wrong, but I think you like me too. And I can see it in your eyes that you like me," he smirked, then continued "so if two people like eachother, then why don't they DO something about it. And by they, I mean WE. Why don't we do something about it? I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want you to be my girlfriend. No, actually, need. I NEED you to be my girlfriend. I promise you, you won't regret it. I will be loyal, and honest, and I swear to god that if you say yes I will be the happiest guy in the world. So please, PLEASE just think about it at least, Gin."

I stared at him, shocked. Thoughts ran crazy through my mind as I stared at his face- his eyes wide with curiosity, his eyebrows slightly furrowed, his hair falling into his eyes in a way that could on, be described as Tyler. "Yes," I finally said.

"Yes?" He repeated my words.

I nodded. "So you're my girlfriend?" He smiled cheekily at me.

"I guess I am," I mirrored his smile.

"Does that mean I get to do this?" He leaned forward.

Oh my god. He's gonna kiss me. He's gonna kiss me. He's gonna- "What do we have here?" The door was flung over to reveal a smirking Oliver.

I stumbled backward. "Oh, c'mon!" Tyler mumbled and I giggled.

Oliver stopped and stared at us. "The janitor's closet. Classy. A bit cliche maybe, but very intimate," then he turned to Tyler and winked, saying "I like the way you think."

"You can't be serious bro," Tyler shook his head and pushed his hair out of his face.

"No, I'm totally serious. It's a great spot. See, once I took Kara in here. I was standing right where Ginnie is actually. And man, let me tell you she was-"

Tyler covered his ears. "Shut up I don't want to think about that!"

"Fine, fine, suit yourself. Well, it looks like I better get going, I hope the moment isn't ruined," he winked and then left, leaving the door wide open.

Tyler reached over and closed it. Oh. "Now, where were we?" He asked.

I giggled and then in a moment of insane courage, I took a step forward and gently placed my lips over his. His body immediately reacted. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I responded by snaking my arms around his neck. I could feel him smile into the kiss as he playfully nipped at my lower lip. I ran my fingers through his hair and couldn't help the corners of my lips from pulling up into a smile. I never wanted his moment to end, if I could just get lost in him forever, trust me that would be my heaven. My boyfriend, MY boyfriend. Tyler and Ginnie. I think I like that. Finally, I broke away from the kiss. Tyler wore a dazed expression on his face, and I could imagine I looked about the same. "That was fun," he smiled lazily at me.

"Yah," I agreed.

"C'mon. Our next class is English with Ms. Bates," he smiled sweetly at me before lacing his fingers through mine.

Quickly, he pecked me on the lips and then tugged me to his side, as we walked down the hall together.
