Chapter Thirteen; This is all going wrong!

Well, I think that did the trick. I sat outside on our porch, waiting for Paige and Ginnie. I can't wait until Tyler asks her out! This will be epic.

"Jessica! Hey!" I heard a voice call from behind me.

"I spun around and saw Oliver running towards me with a boyish smile on his face.

He stopped a couple feet away and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Hey Oliver!" I giggled.

"Um hey Jessica," he blushed "you look, um, pretty?" he offered.

I blushed bright red. "Um thanks bud, you don't look too bad yourself either."

I gave him a dramatic once over just to prove my point. "Yeah so I have a question to ask you..." He trailed off.

"Alright, I'm listening," I giggled.

Where was he going with this...? I couldn't hide the amused smile that was playing on my lips.

"Well, um, oh screw it...here," and before I knew it his lips were against mine.

Wait... What?!? I pushed him off me. "What was that?!?" I yelled.

"What?!?" He asks.

"What was... That... For?!?"

"...that?! You mean me kissing you! Sorry, I didn't know I was being such a burden to you!" he huffed.

Why is HE getting angry with ME. I mean granted, I just rejected him, but he's the one that basically just attacked me with his lips!! Wait... So if the rumors about a boy asking somebody out were about me and Oliver... Did that mean Tyler didn't like Ginnie?! Oh, crap!

Crap, crap, CRAP!

"This is all wrong! Tyler was supposed to ask Ginnie out!" I whimpered.

"Tyler... Wait what?!?! No! I was planning on asking you out! This has nothing to do with those two!" he yelled, obviously frustrated.

"This is all going wrong!" I huffed and stormed off back into the cabin.

I felt tears rush to my eyes but you know what? I don't care because poor Ginnie is going to be heart broken when she finds this out!
