Chapter Nine; Operation Make-Ginnie-Happy Is Officially In Action.

We were all getting ready for a karaoke night. It was freezing cold and nobody wanted to get out of the cabin. I slipped on a pair of pajama pants over my leggings and added a huge hoodie over my shirt. Looking around, I could see most of the other girls were doing the same. Paige walked up to me and sat down on my bed.
"Hey, do you think we could talk?" she asked.
I nodded and led her away to the corner of the bunk.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Well, Ginnie has been acting kind of weird since the sleepover. Do you think something's going on?"
"Yah, I guess she's been kind of distant." I said, remembering the last couple of days.
"I think it's about Tyler," she said.
"Same." I agreed.
"Tonight, let's try to make her happy. We can all sing some cheesy songs together, hang out with our friends. It'll be really nice."
"Okay, sounds like a plan," I said.
Operation Make-Ginnie-Happy is officially in action.
