"Do you think reds my colour?" Izzy asked Clary and I as we walked up the steps to Magnus' party

"Iz with a body like yours, everything's your colour." I tell her

"Good point." She says touching the necklace "Damn, i make this necklace look so good."

"Will you take it off? im sure Magnus Bane doesn't want drool on his ruby when we make the exchange." Alec told his sister

"Calm down Alec, have some fun." I tell him

"You know, I wouldn't be so sure, most men Ike it when i admire there jewels." Izzy says and i laugh

"Can you just give it to Jace?"

Izzy sighed "you're such a buzzkill." And handed the necklace to Jace

When we got inside the club there was loud techno music playing and lots of people dancing

"Blend in, keep your weapons ready." Alec and I went in one direction Izzy in the other and Clary and Jace went to find Magnus.

Alec and I went in the direction of the dance floor, when we got there i started dancing circles around him, i laughed when one guy came up to me and tried to flirt with me i told i already had my eye on a guy.

out the corner of my eye i spotted CLary and Jace walking towards Magnus, i stopped dancing and dragged Alec behind me "Magnus" i yelled when i saw him i ran up to him and he pulled me into a tight hug "Ive missed you so much... we need to catch up more often." I said with a huge grin on my face

"How do you know Magnus." Jace asked surprised

"He was being payed by my mum to take my memories until two years ago when the spell just stopped working i was immune somehow, Magnus told me everything, i never told my mum because shed think i was to young so i kept it a secret from her, me and Mags have been friends since then." I explained

"Then why couldn't you have just told me everything? Or told me how to get my memories back at the start of this." Clary asked angrily

"I made a promise with Jocelyn." I said turning and lifting my hair so they could see the promise rune on my back "I promised that I wouldn't tell Clary anything until Jocelyn of Luke had told her or until she found out by herself." I told them

They all nodded there heads looking slightly confused "But you." I say pointing at Mags "You never told me i was a Herondale. Why?" I ask

"I have known many Herondales in my time all of them strong, brave, caring people and i believed your mother should've been the one to tell you." He told me sincerely i smiled at him again then he turned to Clary

"I wish i could retrieve your memories but i no longer have them." He told her

"What? Where are they?" She asked him

"I fed them to a memory demon for safekeeping."

"And why the hell would you do that?"Jace asks angrily

"He did it to protect the Cup, CLary and himself obviously you idiot." I say still standing beside Magnus

"He'd torture me just like he did Dot." Magnus adds

"Tortured? Wait is Dot okay?" Clary asked him

"You dont know, Dot is dead."

"What?" She asked "You knew didn't you." She says pointing at me

"Yes."

"Why didn't you tell me." She asked accusingly

"I didn't want you to be anymore stressed than you already were." I told her
