The Big Day

The next morning Alec cam to see how i was feeling

"Hi"

"Hey"

"Are you feeling any better?" He asks

"Yeah almost back to normal, anyway enough about me. Today's the big day, isn't it? Its supposed to be the bet day of your life!" I say excitedly as i can but Alec doesnt smile

"It couldn't possibly be"

"What? Why?" I question frowning

"Because your not happy." Alec replies as if its the simplest thing in the world and in that moment i swear my insides melted slightly. I takes me a couple of seconds to form words again

"Look Alec im flattered that you care about how im feeling, but you have to understand that it might take me a little bit of time to come to terms with what is going on. Okay?"  Tell him sincerely

"Will you be at the wedding?" He asks hopefully

I hesitate slightly "I'm not saying no but im also not saying yes." I tell truthfully "anyway should you be getting ready its not that long now." I force a smile onto my face as he gets up

"Ill see you around" he says before closing the door behind him

With pretty much everyone out doing productive activities i am left to help set up the wedding with Izzy, and trust me when I tell you this she is a bossy bitch when she is in the zone, it actually scares me.

I resort to sitting on my bed moping around for the rest of the day until Magnus appears in my room holding a dress and shoes

"What is all this?" I question

"If you dont hurry up you wont be able to stop this wedding. Think of me as your temporary fairy godmother" He says putting the clothes on the end of my bed

"Mags as much as I want to stop the marriage there is no way Alec would choose me a very lazy and unimportant person over Lydia an important member of the shadowhunters."

"I'm not saying that he will choose but i know you which means i know that you will regret not trying to do something, and plus we both know that Lydia is kind of a bitch."

"Your not going to take no as an answer are you?" I ask

"Nope, now stand up" i do as he asks and using his magic he makes me look ready for the wedding in seconds

"Now hurry, before you miss your chance." I turn and walk towards the door

"Thank you" i tell him before i rush out the door and down the halways of the Institute.

I push the doors to the wedding open and everyone turns to look at me including the the bitch Maryse Lightwood

"What are you doing here? Isabelle said you weren't coming." Maryse says getting out of her seat

"Lovely to see you to Maryse, well you see i had a change of heart." I look over to see Izzy wit a huge smile on her face.

"This is between me and Alec, ill leave if he asks me to." I look up to see Alec staring at me before he turns and says a few words to Lydia she nods her head before Alec turns back around and starts to walk down the hallway.

Maryse steps forward "Alec, what are you doin-"

He ignores her and continues walking forwards until he reaches me,

He grabs my waist and pulls me towards him pressing his lips firmly on mine, i freeze before wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him closer to me and deepening the kiss,after a couple of seconds we pull apart our chest heaving.

I glance to the side to see many peoples eyes widen, before a smile sets on my face, i see Izzy, Clary, Simon and Jace all smiling at us. Izzy rushes forwards as more people begin to stand, shocked.

"Thankgod you changed you mind Alec." She gushes

"Guys that was amazing" Simon says reaching us

"Who invited you Vampire" I saw grinning as i pull him into a hug.
