Dougie fell asleep talking last night at about one in the morning, so I quietly made my way back into my room, undetected by Danny, or Dougie for that matter.
When I did get up, I noticed both of the boys were up, probably because Danny had to water the garden and paint the shed before going out with his mate this afternoon.
I smiled to myself as I watched them paint out the window, then quickly got dressed and met them outside.
One again, the weather wasn't horrible for January, but I was still wearing a coat.
"Well, well, well." Danny smiles. "Look who finally decided to join us."
"Morning Lil." Dougie says, keeping his attention on the shed. Both of the boys had red cheeks and noses, and Danny's blue eyes looked hypnotizing in the cold weather.
"Mock all you want, but it's harder to fall asleep when you're not as drunk." I smile, picking up a paintbrush and covering a bit of the shed in white paint.
"Touché." Danny says.
"You're not getting a pound." I say.
"Damn it." He replies, focusing his attention back to the shed. Dougie looks over at me through a flop of blonde hair on his eyes and I smile, looking back to the shed.
"So turns out my friend can't pick me up tonight, so I have to take my car. Sorry, but unless you guys want to walk or take the tube, you're stuck home." Danny says, still focusing on painting.
"That's okay Danny." I say.
"Are you sure? I feel bad leaving you here with Dougie." Danny teases.
"Say whatever you want." Dougie says, peeking around the shed to look at Danny on the other side. "She loves spending time with me."
"Doubt it mate. Don't flatter yourself." Danny laughs.

After finishing the shed, watering all of Danny's garden (I had to help him because he was drowning the plants), and catching a late lunch, Danny began to get ready to go out with his friend.
luckily Danny's house had three bathrooms (Crazy, right? One in the master bath, a normal one and Vicky had her own bathroom), so we were all able to shower the paint off before Danny left.
As Danny was leaving, Dougie and I waited by the door.
"There's food in the fridge-"
"Yes Danny." Dougie said.
"And if you want to go out make sure you lock all the doors-"
"Yes Danny." I say.
"And if you do go out, could you get some milk? Mum will kill me if I don't replace the milk before she gets home." Danny says, putting his jacket.
"Of course Danny. We'll run out and get you milk." I say.
"Thanks guys. Oh and there's Back to the Future in the cabinet next to the TV. But only the first one." He says.
"Thank you Danny." I smile at him. "Have fun."
"Right. Thanks mates." He smiles, stepping outside. He was already a bit late, classic Danny. As soon as the door closes, Dougie kisses me.
"Gosh we haven't kissed in a long time." He says.
"We kissed yesterday." I say.
"Oh...well I was never good at maths." He says.
"Dougie, we have to get milk."
"Oh come on, he didn't say we had to get milk." He says.
"But we should. We owe it to Danny." I say.
"Nuh-uh. We helped him paint the shed." He argues.
"Dougie." I smile at him.
"Okay fine, fine." He sighs.
"You know, we could probably hold hands when we go out." I say.
"What about paparazzi?" Dougie asks.
"Are you kidding? No paparazzi knows we're here. Plus they tend not to go farther than Manchester. We'll be fine...probably." I smile.
"Then what are we waiting for? The milk is calling woman!" He laughs, and I kiss him.
"I forgot my walle-" I hear another Bolton accent say from the front door and my eyes widen.
