The boys had actually followed my instructions for them not to smoke, so I allowed them to, late after the concert tonight while I kept lookout for Fletch.
I am horrible.
We got back to the tour bus at 4 AM and we all went to bed.
or so I thought.
I'd only been asleep for about forty-five minutes when I woke up.
The air in my bunk was thick and hot and my back was covered in a layer of cold sweat. I'm sure everyone else is asleep, so why is it so hot?
I opened the curtain the my bunk and the humidity was doubled. I quietly got off my bed and walked over to the bathroom.
There was smoke coming from under the bathroom door. A fire?
I put my hand on the door to check, but the door wasn't hot.
I ripped open the door to find Danny, with still bloodshot eyes, standing In his pajamas, holding a flat iron.
So the smoke was...steam?
"What the bloody hell are you doing?" I yell at him.
"Flat ironing my hair." Danny smiled.
"Your hair is already straight!" I say.
"No it's not. It's curly. I flat iron it straight." He says.
"At five in the morning?" I ask.
"I always flat iron my hair at five in the morning." He says.
Suddenly Fletch is standing behind me, along with the other boys.
"What is going on?" Fletch asks. "Why are your eyes red?" He asks Danny, turning to the other boys and seeing their bloodshot eyes as well. "That's it, sit!" He yells at them.

"I knew it! I knew you were smoking!" Fletch yelled pacing, as I stood nervously, looking at all the boys.
"Fletch, this is all my fault. I was the one that brought the weed in the first place." Harry said, trying to save his friends.
"You're not helping yourself, Judd." He snapped at Harry, who ducked his head quickly.
"Fletch-" Tom began.
"And you Tom! Out of everyone, you disappoint me the most. I gave you this chance after Busted and you blew it!" Fletch yelled. Tom looked at me worried, and I knew I had to do something. I couldn't let McFly end just because of some stupid plant.
"Fletch, I-"
"And you Lilly." Fletch began. "Did you know about this? I told you to tell me if you knew. Because if you did know, and you didn't tell me...well...you'd already be fired by now."
So yes, I needed this job. I needed it really, really, really bad. But this was more than a job now. This was four boys. I couldn't let their dreams be ruined just because of me. I had to come clean.
"Well Fletch...the truth is-"
"Lilly had nothing to do with it." Dougie said quickly. I looked at him, but he was just looking at Fletch, straight in the eyes. "This was all our fault. Lilly came to us after soundcheck at the last show. She asked if we were smoking and we lied to her. It's not her fault, Fletch."
"Dougie...I-"
"That's the truth." Dougie continued. "And you better believe it...because it would be pretty stupid of you to fire her when she saved your ass when you were sick."
Fletch sighed.
"We'll talk more in the morning." He said, before going back to his bunk.
I quickly grabbed Dougie's wrist and brought all the boys outside. When we were greeted by the cool air, I just looked at Dougie.
"Why-"
"You were going to lie for us. You were going to lose your job for us." He said. I hugged him tightly because in that moment, everything could have gone wrong, and Dougie made it right for all of us.
"Thank you." I said, letting go, and hugging the other boys.
"You shouldn't thank us." Dougie said. "We should be thanking you."
