Woke Up From a Dream I Just Had

"I was talking to Fletch, our manager, Fletch, about how humans can fit into four categories." Harry starts. 

"Three." Tom corrects him. 

"Well actually, it started off as two." Harry continues. 

"Didn't it go up to five?" Danny questions, thoroughly entertained. 

"Possibly, but it started off as two." Harry repeats himself. "Rodents and reptiles...reptilia?" He looks over at Dougie. "What is it?" 

"Reptiles." Dougie says. 

"Reptiles." Harry repeats again. "So it started off with me and Fletch, like, we're both rodents, and then Dougie, we said he's a lizard, and our other manager Lilly and our producer Richard are reptiles. And then we got to Danny and Tom and we were like "hmm...I don't know...they're not either...they're neither". And we decided Tom was a bird, and that Danny was a monkey. So we-" 

"You're a definite monkey." Tom laughs at Danny. "Or he could be a dog." Harry nods. 

"He could be a dog but I don't want to get ridiculous with the categories." He doesn't want to get ridiculous? He's putting all human beings into four animal categories, I'm pretty sure he's well past ridiculous. "So we've got rodent, monkey, reptile and bird and in this band we are one of each." 

"Yeah." Tom observes. 

"So I'm a rodent, Dougie's a reptile, Tom's a bird and Danny's a monkey, but-" 

"That's why we fit together so well." Tom adds. 

"True." Harry begins to laugh. "But there was talk about me being a bird yesterday." 

"You're a potential bird, cause you've got quite a beak on you." Tom says. 

"A crow." Danny smiles. 

"Dougie thinks I'm a rodent, don't you?" Harry asks Dougie. 

"I think you're a rodent, yeah." He replies. 

"He thinks I'm an elephant shrew." Harry laughs. Tom joins in. 

"Wh- what's that?" Danny questions. 

"An elephant shrew's got the massive-est, biggest, nose." 

"A shnout." Dougie says. 

"We urge you to analyze your friend's faces." Tom says, into his camera. 

They were filming the first of many vodcasts, or video-podcasts, to promote their ten year show at The Royal Albert Hall. It was just one of the ideas we had brainstormed together.  

"We have a big announcement, don't we boys?" Tom asks. 

"Yeah!" Danny exclaims. 

"We do?" Dougie pretends not to know. 

"Huge announcement. 'Bout the size of your chin." Harry smirks. 

"It's that big." Tom laughs. "It's a huge announcement. Um...as some of you know, we are celebrating our tenth anniversary this year." 

"What's our actual birthday?" Harry asks. 

"Our actual birthday...we moved into the band house...um...the weekend after my 18th birthday party. So it must have been at the beginning of August." Tom replies.
