He unbuckled his seat belt and hugged me. I was taken aback at first but I didn't push him. I let him hug me. I close my eyes for a moment, I heard a car engine stopped to the other side, I think that's where the noise came from. I didn't mind the noise, because I feel Lawrence hands started to caress my back. He's tapping my back gently, I can feel his deep sigh. And when I open my eyes, I almost cursed out.
A pair of fiery eyes are intently looking at me. My heart pump so fast the moment our eyes met, he has this dim expression on his face. Even if he's quite far from us, I can tell that he doesn't like what he's seeing. God! I feel like I'm caught cheating on him. I shouldn't feel this way. Remember that you're mad at him, Ylorah Martin!
It's a good thing I didn't let my jaw drop on the floor. Goodness! Gazer is back! I feel like jumping out of this car and go to his arms. Damn it! It shouldn't be this way! I'm not supposed to be excited.
"C---can we give it a try? I really want us to work out, let's sort things out. I promise to be good. I promise not to cheat on you, I won't do that again. I love you, and I'm willing to do everything you want. Please, Ylorah." He pleaded while still hugging me. But I didn't really mind what he just said. Because Gazer is still staring at me, with a weird expression in his eyes. I took a deep breath, the horses in my heart can't stop stomping. My heart almost skips a beat when he started walking towards the car.
I get away from Lawrence's hug. He cupped my face, and caress my cheek. I break my eye contact with Gazer and look at Lawrence. But my heart is still racing so fast.
"Please, Ylorah. I really want you back. I promise to be good, this time. Just give me a chance." He said. I heard him, but I can't process what he just said because Gazer is in front of Lawrence's car door. My whole nervous system is on high alert. Damn! What's happening to you, Ylorah?
Before I could even speak, we heard a knock from Lawrence's side. He frowned and looked at his back.
"Shit!" I cursed under my breath. I hold Lawrence's elbow to stop him from opening the door. He looked at me, and he's still frowning.
"Who's that?" He asked pertaining to Gazer. I shook my head and unbuckle my seat belt.
"My neighbor, this is his parking space" I lied. "... Let's talk some other time. For now, just go. Please." I said while looking at the guy in his back. I can't see Gazer's face, I can only see his shirt.
"But--- okay, I'll call you. Please answer my calls." He said when I glared at him. I just nodded and got out of his car. I waved Lawrence goodbye, he waved back. Binaba niya ang kanyang salamin upang silipin si Gazer na ngayon ay mariing nakatingin sa akin. Damn! The horses don't know when to stop, don't they?
"I'm sorry for parking in your space, hinatid ko lang girlfriend ko, dude. Hope you don't mind." Lawrence said while glancing at me and at Gazer. While Gazer is just standing there, I saw him clenched his jaw. I looked away, yeah right! Good timing, Lawrence!
Despite being mad at him, I can't help but be amazed by his looks! He's wearing a navy blue suit, with white long sleeves on the inside. Dang! He looks gorgeous!
"Yeah? Girlfriend, huh?" He said with a hint of bitterness in his voice.
"I'll go ahead, Yh. See you tomorrow, baby." He waved goodbye and starts to drive. And I am left alone with Gazer. My heart almost jumps out of my body when he started to walk towards me. Oh my! Do something, Ylorah! I told myself.
