(A/N) Sorry I haven't updated in a couple days, everyone has been really pissssssing me off a lot lol so I haven't been in the mood to write but thank you very much for waiting patiently

"Huh..?" I asked, sounding extremely puzzled.

"I said I love you, (Y/N)." He said simply, like he had been saying it to me for years.

I felt fireworks and butterflies and maybe even a stampede of horses going through my entire body. I wasn't sure what to say, I had mixed feelings, he could just be saying that. Maybe he doesn't mean it. I think I love Auston too, but I don't know what I should say!

"(Y/N), listen, I know it's really early in our relationship but I fell in love with you a long time ago. I get that we have lots of time to grow our relationship and our love for each other, but I want you to know that I do love you. And I understand if you don't feel the same way yet, but this is how I feel." He and I made intense eye contact, like we were burning holes in each other's skulls, but neither of us were mad.

"Auston, its not that I don't love you, because I think I do, but I want to be one hundred percent sure about it." I pressed my lips together in a tight and sympathetic smile. I felt really bad.

Instead of looking sad though, he just started smiling even wider. He seemed really happy.

"When you're ready to say that word, don't worry, because the feelings are completely reciprocal." He kissed me on the lips and continued to try and make me feel as comfortable as possible.

In the morning I woke up, Auston was at morning skate and Steph was no where to be found and I was all alone, still in excruciating pain.

I put on a pair of black sweatpants and an oversized Calgary flames hoodie. I wanted to see what Auston was going to say about it, I think he'd be fine with it, he knows I love both teams anyways.

I was lying on the couch on my phone when I heard someone come into the apartment. It didn't take me long to figure out who it was. Steph, Mitch and Auston. They all walked in the living room and sat down.

"Calgary flames?" Auston asked, raising an eyebrow.

I smirked and him and nodded.

"That's betrayal!" Mitch announced loudly

I just laughed a bit. I was in a lot of pain I didn't really know what to do, I was trying to be nice but I just wanted quiet.

"I don't know if I should come to the game tonight guys, I feel awful." I admitted

"Awe it's okay babe, I'll stay home with you!" Steph said sounding like my mother.

"Steph it's okay! You can go!" I urged her to go with them, we both loved going and missing out on the chance to go watch them wasn't something we took up often.

"No trust me, I want to stay here, we can eat pasta and chocolate and nachos and everything that's absolute crap for us and we can watch our boys win from home." She announced excitedly

I nodded my head in agreement. It sounded like it would be fun.

Auston and I pretty much just hung out in my room all day and then we napped before he had to go to his game.

Steph and i were in the living room, she made chicken fettuccine Alfredo and she made nachos with chicken, jalapeños, red peppers, cheese and queso dip, she even got mini eggs and we sat on the couch in pajamas wrapped in blankets and began to watch the game.

I was really happy with the outcome of the game 7-6 in overtime for the leafs against the capitals and Mitch and Auston both scored, so Steph and I were very excited.

The boys came home about an hour after the game, they weren't into going out and getting drunk tonight I guess.

Auston and I went into my room, we were just cuddling, I kept planting kisses on his face, he was really perfect.

"I love you too Auston." I said quietly

I smile spread across both of our faces and he kissed me sweetly on the lips before we both fell asleep in each other's arms.
