After what Auston and I just did, I was more than exhausted. He was amazing, he always managed to tire me out completely but at the same time make me want a round 2, round 3 and even round 4.
Jennika "There's something wrong with the babies. Shaylene and Ethan are at the hospital right now..."
I called my sister, part of me wondered if she was joking, but I knew that wasn't the case.
"What do you mean something is wrong with them?" I asked as soon as she answered, on the verge of tears.
"Theres something wrong! I don't know!" Jennika exclaimed, she was crying and I could hear her boyfriend in the background trying to calm her down.
This was serious. Those babies are precious goods and I don't want anything bad happening to them, I'm terrified for them.
"Well, when you find out let me know!" I was flabbergasted, I had no other way to react than to just freak out.
"The twins... there's something wrong Aus." I let tears slip from my eyes. He wiped them gently from my cheeks and hugged me.
"They'll be okay baby, don't worry." He cooed.
But I was worried, and his words, as soothing as they were, didn't calm me down. I didn't even realize that I drifted off into sleep until I was waken up by my phone ringing obnoxiously loud in my ear.
"What?" I snapped when I answered the phone, not even looking at the caller ID.
"The girls are gonna be born prematurely." Jennika said groggily.
"They're like two and a half months early!" I exclaimed in horror. I didn't know how that stuff worked, I thought they had to be full term.
"They're being born like, now." Jennika said.
"Oh my god. I need to come to Calgary!" I said loudly, jumping out of bed and scrambling around to find my suitcase.
"Babe what's going on?" Auston woke up.
"Babe I gotta go to Calgary!" I was freaking out running all over the place. Jennika was still on the phone.
"Jen I gotta let you go!" I hung up the phone and threw it on the bed.
"Baby! Calm down, what's going on?" Auston jumped out of bed and grabbed my arms, trying to get me to settle down.
"The twins are being born Aus!"
"Oh god, okay! I'm coming with you then!"
I packed my bag as fast as I could, I wasn't sure how long we were staying in Calgary for and we sped to Austons so he could pack a bag and we were off to the airport and on the next plane to Calgary within an hour and a half.
