Trigger warning at the end of the chapter. If you're sensitive to suicide and the topic of it, I would suggest skipping out on this one.

Austons POV

Me
"Hey babe I'll pick you up around 8, be ready."
"I'm on my way."
"Im outside."
"Are you coming out? I've been here for 15 minutes."
"Where are you?!"

I was panicking, where was she? Why was she taking so long to come down. I knew Steph was home so I decided to call her.

"Yes?" She snapped when she picked up her phone.

"Where's (Y/N)?" I asked, snapping back at her.

"Nobody knows Auston. Maybe she would be here if you didn't cheat on her again." Steph said sharply.

"What the fuck Stephanie?!" I demanded.

"I'm not keeping that from her, letting her get hurt by you, thinking that you love her when you're just going and fucking other girls. I won't tolerate it." Steph said sharply.

"It was nothing! She's someone from back home, we were both drunk, it doesn't even count! I wasn't thinking straight." I defended myself.

"AUSTON! You cheated on (Y/N)! You had sex with another woman, it counts whether you were sober or blackout drunk. You should have known better than to do that to a girl who loves you more than you'll ever know." And with that, Steph hung up the phone. But I wasn't done talking. Nobody knew where (Y/N) was? So I decided to call Steph back.

"What?!" She spat

"How do you not know where (Y/N) is?!" I asked worriedly. She could be in danger for all we know.

"She ran somewhere Auston! And now we can't find her anywhere." Steph hung up the phone again.

Oh my god. Where was she? Was she okay? Was she at least safe?!

Mitch's POV

Man I really wish I didn't tell (Y/N) those details, maybe then she would be safe. Steph and I have been out for an hour looking for her, calling her name, going in bars and down back alleys, but she is nowhere to be found. She didn't take her phone with her, she just ran away.

"Maybe we should go back Steph, it's getting really late." I suggested, Steph just shook her head, tears staining her face. This was her best friend, and frankly mine too, but it would be easier to look for her in the daytime.

"Mitch, she could be in danger." Steph cried into my chest.

"She is okay, trust me, if anything, she is smart and won't put herself in a dangerous situation." I tried reassuring Steph, but she just shook her head and kept walking.

By now it was midnight and there was still no sign of our best friend, and I will admit it, I was terrified for her, she could be dead, she could be kidnapped, she was in such a state of mind that she was not thinking clearly and she made a horrible decision. I just hoped she was okay.

(Y/N)'s POV

I was standing at the edge of the river, ready to jump in. I was ready to end it all, like I've said before, I will never be good enough for anyone, so I was doing myself and everyone else a favour. I would just end it all, just jump in and it would be over with. I was ready to do it, until I heard someone behind me. A females voice, she told me to step away from the edge, but i didn't. She asked me again, but I stood where I was, and I was ready to take the plunge, until someone grabbed my arms and pulled me back.

It wasn't long until I realized these people who had just saved my life were police officers, I guess they patrol the area. Just my luck, I didn't want to be here, yet here I was.
