Paul and Patryk are orphans living at an orphanage. One day, they are adopted by four men, Edd, Matt, Tom, and Tord. As they grow up, they both realize they have feelings for each other. The future doesn't seem bright, but anything could happen.
This orphanage is boring, none of the kids ever talk to me, well, except for Paul. Paul is my best friend, my only friend. All I really do is read books all the time. "Patryk! Patryk!" Paul called. I'm only 12 years old, same as Paul. I had dark brown hair, Paul's hair was more light brown. But, my hair is nice an neat while Paul's is messy.
"Hey Paul, what happened, anything important?" I said casually, still not turning away from my book.
"Someone might adopt us!" Paul had a lot of excitement in his voice, but he has said this before as a joke, so I don't really believe him when he talks about adoption. "
Sure we are," I mumbled, laughing quietly.
"I'm not kidding this time! Here, I'll show you!" Paul grabbed my hand and pulled me off of my bed, causing me to drop my book. Paul pulled me into the main entryway, there were four men standing there, each wearing a different color hoodie.
The men were talking to the lady that ran the orphanage, I think her name was Constance Michel, she wasn't always the one running the orphanage, a lady named Grelod The Kind was the one running the orphanage but she's dead. Constance smiled when she saw me being dragged in by Paul.
"There he is," She said, smiling.
"You're Patryk?" One of the guys asked, he was wearing a red hoodie and had a Norwegian accent. "
Yes, my name is Patryk." Observing the four men, they were all wearing hoodies, a red one, a blue one, a green one, and a purple one.
"Tord, I don't think we should adopt this one," The blue hoodie one said.
"Tom! Stop being so rude!" The green hoodie one said to Tom.
"Of course we'll get this one Tom. Don't worry about anything," Tord said laughing,
"Go get your things from your room." Paul smiled and ran to his room. If he trips he'll probably choke, he's always running around with a sucker in his mouth.
"Wait, who's my parents and who's Paul's parents?" I questioned, realizing there were four men.
"Oh! Me and Edd are adopting Paul, and I think Tom and Tord are adopting you," The purple hoodie man said.
"So I won't be able to talk to Paul anymore," I said, you could hear the sadness that laced my voice, I was pretty close to crying at that point.
"No, not at all. All four of us are roommates, we all share a house together," The purple hoodie guy said smiling
"Oh yeah, my name is Matt!"
"Should I get my stuff?" I said, realizing that Paul left a while ago.
"Yeah, go get your stuff," Tom said, starting to become annoyed.
"Okay," I whispered, beginning to run to my room.
When I got to my room, Paul was there, packing up my stuff.
"There you are! You were taking a while, so I started packing up some of your things," Paul said, his smile never leaving his face.
"Thanks Paul. Also, did you know that those four guys are roommates? The two of us will be living in the same house together!" You could hear the excitement as it rose in my voice. But, something Paul doesn't know is that I have a crush on him, he probably doesn't feel the same though, so it doesn't matter. I guess it's possible that Paul develops feelings for me though, so I won't lose all of my hope.
"I know, isn't it great? They told me before I came to get you." Paul was still smiling.
"Okay, everything is packed. Let's go!" Paul yelled. He had too much energy, he was also got overexcited a lot.
"You kids ready to go?" Tom asked as he walked in the room.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Paul yelled...again. Tom walked bac to the main entryway where Edd, Matt, and Tord were waiting. Edd smiled when he saw me and Paul, he opened the doors to the outside and began walking to the car, everyone following.
