"You should leave!" he shouted at me.
Umiling ako ng sunod sunod. "No! I can't leave you alone!" I shouted back.
Tinitigan niya ako at kita ko ang pagod sa mga mata niya. Hingal na hingal siya at tumatagaktak ang pawis niya.
"Please Haylie. If they both caught us you know what will going to happen." pakikiusap niya.
"Yes! Alam ko ang mangyayari kaya nga ayaw kitang iwan!" naiiyak na sambit ko.
I can't leave him in this situation.
Marahan siyang pumikit habang hinahawakan ang pisngi ko. I held her hand that is touching my face.
"I'm begging you. Leave this place and never come back again. Promise me that you'll be safe."
"How abo-"
"Don't mind me. I can protect myself." he assured.
Dahan dahan niyang binitawan ang mukha ko at ginawaran ng halik ang noo ko. Is it a goodbye?
He look at me and smile.
Hanggang kailan ko ulit makikita ang mga ngiti na iyan?
Nawala ang atensyon ko sakaniya ng tumingin siya sa likuran ko at nakarinig kami ng mga alulong. They're here.
"Leave this place now!"
I follow what he wants and run as fast as I could.
Kung hindi lang sana ako lumabas ng hospital dito sa mansyon hindi sana mangyayari ito! It's all my fault!
