Sorry about the long wait and also I decided that I would make this chapter into two parts because of how long it was getting.

Part One--Chapter Seven: Meeting

Incubus' POV

It was noon by the time I fully woke up. Even so, I still felt dragged and tired to the bone. I didn't want to get up. I didn't want to face those puny, annoying and slightly amusing (because of how ignorant and dumb they were to not realize the "invisible" world around them) humans. They just made me more mad than I usually already was and they made me feel less guilty of robbing them of their useless dreams. I didn't feel a lot of guilt so that was something to say...

Starlight was out and so was Luna. Though I don't understand where two night demons would go out while it was still bright out and there were snobby humans strolling around. I was alone in the house. And that meant doing whatever the hell I wanted; whatever the hell I could do and wanted.

After I was fully awake and sitting, bored, at the island in the kitchen with the local newspaper, I read the recent headline about another man who acted completely "normal" but went crazy and started yelling and talking about a demon boy who liked to haunt him at night. Ah, Mr. Thomson, a recent victim who was so weak that he had broken in only 3 months. Now that was a new improvement. But Luna and Starlight couldn't know otherwise, after yesterday night, they would totally cut me off of my nightly rampages through the dream world.

I thought I would go crazy and deck the house by now. I guess I would just have to wait until Luna brings the moon out and Starlight flashes his little sparkly lights. That's when the real and much more ruthless and merciless demon comes out.

It was twilight by the time I had realized I had stayed inside all day. Night was coming and it was cooler and there were less people outside.

I pulled on my large coat and swung the front door open, letting in the cool autumn air in. I stepped outside already seeing a few people walking or talking. Maybe I shouldn't have come outside already...

I turned to go back inside--I couldn't handle being around humans unless they were asleep because I went nuts with their imaginations--but didn't. I heard something from the roof of the house. I walked down the steps of the porch and around to the side of the house where I had heard the noise. I looked up and saw nothing, thought I heard it again. A hiss.

Taking a few steps back, I craned my neck up again, trying to spot the thing that was on the roof. I didn't see all of it though I did see its leathery, spiked tail. Another demon? I stared up at it until it poked its head up and I saw what it was. It was another demon--the ugly, red, winged and forked tail kind that you see in cartoons.

He looked down at me with his slitted yellow cat eyes and started to hiss something at me. It's voice and words, since he was so high up, were incomprehensible and his hissing didn't make his words sound any clearer.

When he finally got the point that I wasn't going to listen to him or that I wasn't getting any of his words, he climbed down the side of the house--like a spider--and hobbled towards me. He was hunched over and walked like he was limping. I had been about to go inside, when he grabbed onto the bottom of my jacket and stopped me. He was as small as a ten year old kid--and maybe he could've been if he wasn't red and had a tail or wings...

"What do you want and who the fu--"

"Night Prince, he has sent me to fetch you. He wants to speak with you personally." The short, bony demon told me. "I am Ravener."

I stared down at the demon for such a long period that he started to shift uncomfortably underneath my intent and calm and serious gaze. I took a deep breath in and finally sighed.

"Why?" Was all I asked the little demon--Ravener.

"I'm not sure, sire. I just feel that he really wants to speak with you." Ravener informed my and I nodded, thoughtful.

"I have never gone to him without Luna or Starlight with me. I don't even know how to get there--I don't know what I am supposed to do when I get to the portal. Do you think he can wait until midnight?" I asked the demon and lied to him a bit. I did know what I was supposed to do when I got to the portal--show it my fancy tattoo--and also where the portal was.

Ravener nodded like I had before--thoughtful and calculating--and then simply shrugged.

"I will go back and ask him of that, and I will return with his answer, Prince," He told me and I started to get irritated with all his names and formalities towards me. I nodded to him and he vanished into the air with a puff of red mist.

Ravener had come back to me and told me that the Devil could wait. And so I let him wait until midnight. I met Starlight and Luna on a hill that was just outside of town and that overlooked the whole sleeping town. I guess tonight I wasn't getting my human's dreams.

I explained to Starlight and Luna of what Ravener had asked me and what I had asked him to do. I informed them of what the Devil wanted--to simply talk with me--and asked them if one of them would come with me. I wasn't scared of the 'big man' or even intimidated, I just felt the need to be with someone that I knew well and not just remotely.

Luna took hold my arm, intertwined hers with mine and started to walk me off towards the town--towards the portal--before Starlight could even say another word. I guess she needed to ask something of him or needed to speak to him too.

I looked back at Starlight over my shoulder and saw him smile at Luna and I and shrug. It had been a long time since Luna had gone to talk to him. He was like our doctor or teacher and we went to him when we (mostly Starlight and Luna--I had never went to meet him until that day Starlight had taken me) had trouble with our powers or something was up--sometimes both.

Luna spoke cheerfully and quickly throughout the whole walk--like she was on something--to the portal. She stopped mid sentence when we reached the red-bricked wall that was the entryway to Hell.

She looked at me and nodded to me, signalling that I should do what I had done when Starlight had taken me to see him. I had to show the wall my tattoo thingy and it would open up. So I shrugged out of my coat, lifted my shirt up and pressed my back to the cold, hard wall. I heard a clicking noise and felt the bricks start to move beneath my back and stepped away. I pulled down my shirt and took my jacket from Luna, who was staring, wide eyed, at the moving brick wall. I suppose she hadn't taken this portal to the underworld.

When the wall was now a gaping hole and the door to the Devil opened up, Luna, like a mother who was scared her child would get lost, took my hand firmly and led me into the dark void that was filled with the slight haunting whispers and eerie howls of lost souls and things.

I'm so sorry about the long wait and I promise that the second part of the chapter will be up by the end of the day (I still have to write it :/ )

I hope that the first part of the chapter was worth the wait hehe...
