Chapter Fifteen:Lets Raise Hell
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Incubus' POV
I wandered out of her house and into the silent, cold street. It was just another night that I had spent a little differently. I had talked to a human--for a good reason--and also hadn't stole anyone's dreams--yet.
Walking away from her house, her street and soon, her neighbourhood, I strolled off into the wooded world that surrounded almost the whole town.
It was like a whole new world. A silent world. A eerie but beautiful world. The whispers of the slight wind and the rustling and crunching if leaves underneath my boots were the only sounds. Occasionally, there would be a hoot of an owl or scuffling of the animals that roamed around at night.
The bright moonlight filtered through the canopy of golden, dying leaves from up above. The stars dancing and twinkling through the gaps in the canopy, giving me a glimpse of the night sky. Wind rustled through the trees like a haunting ghost, whispering its secrets to me. It ruffled my hair and blew the ends of my unbuttoned jacket.
I walked silently, almost like one if the animals that crawled around at night, in the shadows. Aimlessly and uselessly walking through the trees, weaving my way up the tiny hills and down to the tiny streams, I soon ended up standing in front if a lake. It was calm, still and almost silent. It was more lively than the forest behind me had been, but was equally as magnificent and dark and almost otherworldly. Everything seems led different, calm and magical at night.
"Lets raise hell..."
I whip my head side to side, looking for whoever whispered creepily into my ear. No one.
"Lets raise hell...lets raise hell! Lets raise hell!" Whoever it was, was starting to scream. I stared out at the unmoving water, the still tress, the pale moon and the shadowy darkness. There was no one here with me. Was I just making it all up?
"Come on, night demon; come on, Prince. Are you scared of the darkness you rule? Are you scared of your own kingdom? Your own shadowy servants?" The raspy voice taunted me from its hiding spot. "No, you aren't scared of anything. You're just scared of the monster within you: yourself."
I slowly and calmly turned my body towards the dark trees. A person...no, a shadow, stepped out from between the skeleton-like trees and bowed in front of me. He didn't say anything and held out his smokey hand. Something silky and white was precariously held in his hand which gave off tendrils of black smoke as I reached out and silently took the material he was giving me.
Hair.
It was Luna's hair, I would know immediately and would recognize its unique, silvery colour anywhere.
"Why do you have Luna's hair?" I ask dumbly and curiously. What were they doing? Giving her a hair cut?
"Close your fingers around it and you will see," The shadow told me and even though I couldn't see its mouth, I swear I could hear the smile in it's words.
I did as he--or she--told me to do and I was immediately and undeniably caught up in someone's recollection of the events of that night. And why this Fear demon had a lock of Luna's hair.

I was just one of the shadows that stood among the many others. We were all crowded in a circle around the helpless, pale, beautiful girl who was struggling to free herself from our threat.
