Song Of The Chapter: If- R5
Anastasia's POV_
"Tell us all the hot deets!" Joyce cuddled up on my sofa, joining me and Mia as we were having our morning coffee.
It became such an addiction to have a cup of coffee with Mia each morning.
We can't start our day properly without it, and it's a great conversation starter between us.
Me and Joyce are known to be closer than me and Mia, seeing Mia and Joyce have been friends way before I joined the squad, but I think Mia, being her calm, relaxed and collected self, is the kind of friend that you can find when you're feeling down, need a hug or a shoulder to cry on, while Joyce is the kind of friend that jumps in on the fun and pushes you to use your energy to the limit.
My squad is a combination of both chilled and hyped, which is exactly what I need.
I'm not saying Mia doesn't like to party wild, and I'm not saying that Joyce isn't there for me either, I'm saying that their personalities are somehow opposite to one another, which brings them closer, and completes our friendship.
Therefore, our small habits bring me closer to Mia, and it feels so nice to have some things in common with her.
"How was it?!" Mia squealed.
When my friends get excited about a topic, you can sense that high pitched tone in their voices, indicating how ready they are to know all the details.
I've noticed that in both of them, which is honestly so cute.
"It was great!" I lied.
"I knew it!" Joyce gushed.
Joyce's visions never fail, and when she has an eye out for a guy, he has to be one perfect guy.
I'm not complaining though, it kinda helped me a lot with my previous relationships but of course, I'm not going to stick to one guy for the rest of my life, it's literally so boring and I never fall for it. So, with her help, I've had one perfect boyfriend after the other, but both me and the guy knew that it wasn't going to last long, and that it wasn't anything but physical, so we kinda fall apart eventually.
"There's one little problem though." I said.
"Which is?!" Mia asked.
"Nothing happened." I laughed at my two excited best friends that seemed disappointed the second I stated my sentence.
I wanted lots of things to happen, actually, but I wouldn't have carried on with his friend around the house, because I know I can be loud at some point, and that would've been awkward for the three of us.
"What do you mean nothing happened?! Why did you leave with him then?!" Joyce asked.
"His roommate showed up, and we were like naah we won't fuck with the guy in the next room." I laughed.
"Alex!" Joyce exclaimed. "I forgot he existed, fuck!" She said.
Sure, she knows about the guy and forgot to tell me.
Classic Joyce.
"You knew he had a roommate?" I asked her, sipping on my drink.
"I wouldn't have let you leave with him if I didn't know the basic shit about him, dumbass." She said.
I think investing Conor's life was easier for her than investigating a normal guy's life, since he's a celebrity, and everything she needs to know is already put online for her to discover.
"Well, apparently, the boys break into each other's rooms in the middle of the night so casually." I said.
I have literally never been in a situation where I was almost naked and a third person pops up during the intimacy, so I can't get myself to forget about the second it happened.
