Song Of The Chapter: There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back- Shawn Mendes.

Conor's POV_

"Okay, I'm ready to go!" I was on the phone with Caspar when I heard Anastasia's voice coming closer to me as I waited for her on the same bench she left me sitting on.

"No Caspar, I'm not filming that shit, it's too cold!" I yelled at my annoying friend that has been going on about our essential collaboration for the growth of both of our channels and whatnot.

"But Jack's going to be there too! You're the smart one, you'll be out in no time!" He insisted I should give it a go, or at least think about it, but let's be honest, I got more important shit to handle.

"Caspar I-" I wanted to speak, I really wanted to, but I couldn't.

I looked up to see a completely different person than the one I expected to see... someone insanely jaw dropping.

"You what Conor?!" Caspar seemed to be losing his nerves because of our dumb conversation, but honestly, I couldn't care less at the moment.

Who knew a little dress up could change a human the way it changed her?

"I-I'll call you later." I barely spoke, studying the body opposite to me in shock, standing up slowly to face her, my eyes lost on whether to look at that clear face holding a pair of calm green eyes, or that body covered with nothing but a see-through shirt and tight demin jeans hugging her body in the perfect places.

I don't know, I just... don't know.

Why does she make me feel like I don't know anything about everything?

I didn't sign up for this!

"What?" Her awkward laugh stopped my gaze, and that finger snap pulled me back to the real world. "Please tell me this is not the way you check a girl out." She face palmed, reaching for my hand before I could even speak, dragging me behind her through the room, where I could hear Caspar still babbling against my ear, yet I didn't understand a thing he's saying.

"Caspar! Stop talking!" I urged him to shut up, and he finally did.

"So you're gonna do it?!" He asked, desperation in his voice as he begged one last time.

"Yeah yeah whatever." I brushed the weight off of my shoulders, trying to finish this conversation before we leave the dancing center.

"Thank you!" He cheered, finally letting me hang up the phone after many useless attempts in declining his offer.

"Where are we going?" She asked, watching me as I quickened my pace to walk parallel to her, sliding my phone in my pocket, as her hand still dragged me to hurry up.

"Wherever you want to go." I answered, finally making it out of the multiple doors seperating us from the outside world, before she released my hand, placing her sunglasses on as she left me to walk behind her, wondering why the hell is she moving that fast, and why did she let my hand go, but before I could ask her for a proper reason, the answer slammed me in the face.

"I don't want to end up like your ex." She pointed at a few girls filming me as I walked through the street, waving for me to shift my eyes and notice them, and maybe I'm too lost, or too distracted to move, but Anastasia's command felt like I just hired a new manager to tell me how to act when I'm in my blank phase. "You should wave back, honey." She laughed at my attempt to focus, pushing my shoulder lightly.

"Right!" I breathed, smiling and waving back after I was able to comprehend my surroundings.

"You saved my life right there. If people thought we're dating I wou-" I started, but of course, who am I to continue a normal sentence when she can literally read my mind?
