Song Of The Chapter: One Last Time- Ariana Grande.

Conor's POV_

"I'll see you later, okay?" Her hand was resting over my chest, with her back against the car door, as she looked up at me, her eyes somhow managing to glow with the happiness and life that has left me for a while now.

"You sure will," I assured her, smiling down at the beautiful pair of cherry pink lips that seem to capture my attention way too easily somehow.

Now, maybe I'm going to sound as if I'm over exaggerating, but I'm not, because even though I didn't want her to move, just so I could get enough of the way sunlight touches her skin so smoothly, and the wind passes through her hair gently, she did move, freezing me with a hug that I never saw coming.

Her cheek against my upper chest because that's the highest she can reach, with her hands wrapped around my body loosely, yet warmly, but I didn't move till she was about to let go, because that's when I realised that I must hug back, and not let her slip away from me like I do everytime.

My hands finally moved to wrap around her structured waist, my head over her shoulder as I held her against me, and I know I've received thousands of hugs from thousands of people, but I needed that one... I really did, because I didn't think I could make it through the day anymore, with all these noises and loud voices, and the crowded areas, and thoughts that have been depriving me from acting the way that I should be acting in public.

I love hugs... they're silent, yet they have their way of relieving me, because no matter who's hugging me, it just feels good knowing that someone's still there for me.

And the fact that she's the one hugging me made it even better, because usually, the longest hugs I receive barely last a minute, they're quick and meaningless, but I just love when someone keeps holding onto me till I decide to pull away, despite the amount of time we spend in each other's arms.

She moved her hands from down my body to wrap them around my neck, going on her tip toes to place her chin over my shoulder as well, my face snuggling closer into the crouch of her neck, the smell of her perfume filling my lungs to create a comfortable feeling for me to hold her tighter with my eyes closed, neither of us saying a word as we stood there, feeling each other's heartbeats moving in sync, not even caring if anyone's watching, or how weird it must be to pull a hug for that long, because I just needed it, and from the way she's hugging me back, I think she needs it too.

"I-um- I need to go now." Pulling away was painful, honestly, but both of us know going for such a hug isn't the most healthy decision.

"Yeah, sure." I breathed, finally unwrapping her slowly, pulling a half smile as I watched her step away, her eyes still on mine as she opened the car door again, waving one last time before getting in, sending me a kiss outside her window, making me smile, before she disappeared out of my sight, with me standing still in the middle of the street, sighing my tension out, before making my way up to my apartment.

"Look who's here!" I heard Jack's cheer as I made my way across the living room, wondering why on earth is he so excited about my arrival.

"We're filming!" Alex grinned, looking back at me as I made my way behind their chairs, stopping in front of the camera pointing at both of them as they sat next to each other.

"I just got you more views." I smiled, winking at the camera, playfully swinging my shoulders so I could seem like a flexible yet mental human, making both of them laugh at my actions.

"My brother's happy for once!" Jack sarcastically joked, getting up.

"I'm deleting this." Alex sighed, rushing to turn the camera off as Jack made his way to me while I got something to eat out of the almost empty fridge.
