Song Of The Chapter:  The Weight- Shawn Mendes.

[NEXT MORNING]

Conor's POV_

I forced my eyes to open, as I sensed sunshine breaking free into my room, the first thing I felt was Anastasia's head against my chest, with her hands resting around me loosely, obviously sound asleep in my arms.

I breathed, my hand going through her hair to lay it back, and away from her face, slipping my hand from around her slowly, making sure her sleep isn't disturbed by my actions, leaving her head to rest on my pillow instead, pecking her bare shoulder lightly, tugging her in my sheets, before eventually getting up.

I wonder what time is it, seeing I usually never wake up early on a Sunday, especially when there's no noise around the apartment to wake me up.

Speaking of noise, I wonder if Alex is up by now.

Even though I know that even if he's up, he never wakes me up, which annoys me since the second I fall asleep, I can stay deep in dreamland till god knows when.

I looked back at the girl laying on my bed, smiling to the view of her eyes closed, and her lips partially shut, as she settled in place, not bothered with anything around her, which is a view I loved seeing.

It was a view so calming and pure, sending peace through my toxic mind after all this time, and it was like I'm stress-free, and completely ignorant to the thoughts that used to murder me everytime I try falling asleep.

This is the first time I've ever woken up with her next to me, so seeing her like this warmed my heart somehow, as if the Anastasia I know is taking a rest from me and my problems, seeming so relaxed on the bed that she'll soon be visiting again.

I smiled, studying her a little more carefully, my eyes falling on the way one of her hands holds the pillow under her head softly as she lays motionless, before I eventually decided to move when I felt like I might be staring at her for too long.

I might be... admiring her for too long.

I slipped my pants back on, my hand going through my hair as I unlocked the door quietly, descending down the strairs, jumping when I saw Jack on my couch, his phone in his hands, smiling to himself like the idiot he is.

"Hey baby," He smiled "No, he's not up yet." I heard him softening his voice as he spoke, while I leaned on the door frame, watching him entertainingly, waiting for him to notice my presence. "I missed you too." He sighed, looking around the room, with the same smile still wide over his face.

My brother's in love, but I can't get over the girl that has dumped me because of my fame... how ironic.

"No, don't worry, she's probably up there with him or something," He said, finally sitting up, his eyes to the ground as he spoke. "We've been through this, it's just you and me babe, nobody else." He seemed so reassuring, before I finally decided to grab his attention, seeing I might actually throw up if I listen to this conversation any further.

"My brother!" I greeted him the way I usually do, moving from my place eventually.

"My brother!" He repeated, patting my shoulder as I sat down next to him, my back leaning down to the couch, where I rested my head.

"Yeah yeah, sure." He nodded, even though he knows she can't actually see him. "I'll talk to you later." He smiled. "I love you too." He finally hung up, breathing out before looking at me right there next to him.

"Is she stopping around tonight?" I asked him, taking my phone out of my pocket as I spilled the question.

"Probably." He nodded, and before I could ask more questions, or discuss the topic any longer, I heard a loud knock on my door.
