Song of the chapter: Little Do You Know- Alex & Sierra

[Next Morning]

Anastasia's POV_

"I'M COMING!" I angrily yelled at the fact that I had to drag myself out of my warm bedsheets to answer my repeatedly knocking front door, with no Mia or anybody around to do it for me.

I sighed, rolling my eyes after reading the time off of my phone screen.

6:00 a.m.

What kind of decent human being even wakes up this early?!

I walked my way out of my room, not paying any attention to the fact that I've been looking like an absolute mess ever since yesterday, finally reaching the front door where I pulled a fake smile, trying to hide both my annoyance and sadness to the person I'm about to welcome.

The light wind that usually blows inside the apartment when I open my door was blocked by a masculine figure standing right at the frame of my door, forcing me to flinch away because of the huge amount of red roses almost bumping against my face as I opened my door.

I stepped back to focus on the view ahead of me, before the huge bouquet escalated down to reveal a face... his face, that was hiding behind a big amount of roses, an ear to ear grin on his face, his usual morning looks were still obvious on his face, as if he had just woken up, that messy hair sinking my heart deep down into colorful oceans of love and adoration, with a casual black shirt covering that body I've missed more than anything else in the whole entire world.

"Hi!" He seemed so happy for some reason, his smile sending the greatest vibes through every single part of me, and I tried holding back the smile that has been forming on my lips to the sight of him this happy.

You don't understand how strong my urge is to wrap myself in his arms and bless my body with a bone-crushing hug right now, but I kept myself together, trying not to show any emotions to the view of my little goofball standing right in front of me.

He put the bouquet out, tilting his head to the front a little, his eyes widening as he gave me the most innocent smile he could ever master, waiting for a reaction out of me.

Of course, my power of controlling my actions was slowly fading away because of his smile, but I'm pretty sure I can hold on a little longer.

"Conor?" I wanted to pull some toughness through my voice, but it was let out as a delightful sigh instead, ruining my entire plan.

"Straight outta Amsterdam, all the way back to my boo." He winked, still waiting for me to accept his offer, and take those roses, which I eventually did, avoiding the fact that this might be the loveliest gesture he's done ever since we met, focusing on the fact that he just boo'ed me, and the fact that I loved it.

I mean, imagine me... being his boo... what a wild yet beautiful thought.

"Just a little gift to say I'm sorry... for everything I've been putting you through." I held the roses in both of my hands, examining him as he pointed his eyes down, trying to look at the floor beneath him instead of my eyes, his hand going through the hair at the back of his head.

"Come in." I sighed, stepping aside so he can make his way into the living room, because it's a bit windy outside today, and he's wearing nothing but a T-shirt.

This boy isn't responsible, careful, or aware of what's going on.

I placed that bouquet on the small coffee table next to me as I followed him inside, knowing that no matter how many smiles he's been pulling, he still feels just as awkward as I'm feeling at the moment.
