Song Of The Chapter: 2U- Against The Current (Cover)

EIGHT MONTHS LATER

Anastasia's POV_

"Tell me again, why did we bring Jack along?" I rolled my eyes at my boyfriend's brother who's been walking around the store literally annoying every costumer that walks by with random questions for his video.

"Look at that thing growing." Jack practically shoved his lens against my body, pointing his camera at my huge belly. "The baby could literally come out any second. I'll finally be an uncle." He added, talking to his non-existence audience, capturing my annoyed smile, and my messed up outfit.

The past few months have been a nightmare, I tell you.

Well, not for mine and Conor's relationship. We've actually been going pretty perfectly.

In fact, we've moved in together a couple of weeks ago; knowing that we both have a baby to look after, and sharing an apartment would make things easier.

A nice two-floor apartment with a lovely view, and a calm neighbourhood. Exactly what we both need to avoid any sort of stalking and annoyance, and still fulfilling both of our needs.

Because believe me, the media has been keeping an eye out for Conor a lot more than usual, and that has affected pretty much all of his acquaintances, not just me and him.

What has been a nightmare though, is my pregnancy.

We chose not to reveal the gender yet, not because we don't want to, but because we don't know either.

I thought it would be better if we kept it on hold till the baby is born, because I know they'll receive the same amount of love and acceptance from both me and Conor.

Well, at least I know I'm patient enough to wait. Conor, on the other hand, had simply given up on trying to find out, and surrendered to the fact that such information shall be kept aside until our baby arrives.

"Annie!" Conor came running to me after wandering around the shelves, a tiny pink skirt in his hands, and a wide smile on his face. "Look how adorable!" He melted at the view, swinging the piece of clothing around in admiration.

I wanted to come here by myself, and choose the final touches for our baby's wardrobe all on my own, because I know how can Conor be when it comes to choosing baby outfits.

"Baby, we don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet." I explained why he should put the small skirt back, my hand against his cheek.

"I know we don't, but can we buy that anyway?" He grinned, pulling his best bright blue puppy eyes to try convincing me.

"New born babies don't wear skirts, Conor." I shook my head, his bottom lip popping out sadly, mastering a disappointed frown to make me feel guilty about refusing his offer.

I only see Conor this happy and excited when we go shopping for the enchanted baby.

Literally, not even the stage makes him as happy as when our baby is involved.

Sadly, I wasn't able to travel around with him much these days, but we've always managed to keep in touch while he's gone.

He's been to LA for a while, and he recently dropped out two more singles after Are You Sure.

I can tell people are loving his latest work, because he's been getting a huge amount of positive reviews.

People are actually starting to recognise me too now.

I get stopped and asked about Conor a lot. Some of them even want pictures, which makes me feel bad because I don't look my best these days.

Our life has been moving for the better after a few months of struggle, and even though I still get dragged down a lot by a few fans, and we still need to explain to a few people that Conor isn't single anymore, I've been managing.
