"Skyler, come fast we are getting late!" I hear my friend Emma calling me from downstairs.

I groan in my bed after hearing her voice don't get me wrong I mean today is the 1st day of school. I'm totally not a morning person . But what can I do I have to go to school otherwise mom will be mad at me. I got up from my bed and my bare foot touch the floor as I walk to bathroom. I took a quick bath and complete my morning business. As I went down I see my mom making breakfast and my friend Emma sitting on couch waiting for me. As her eyes land on me she give a dead glare and I known that she is mad at me so I quickly grab an apple and wave her. I kissed my mom cheeks and bid goodbye to her.

Emma went to her car and she sat in and I did the same. I don't own a car so Emma gives me lift. We sat in and and I start the radio. Adele" hello " is going on.

We both start humming the song. After 15 minutes our school came Emma pullover the car and start finding place to park her car. We both came out of the car. Emma was so mad because she was not able to find the spot to park the car. After ten minutes she parked her car. And we both begin our journey to our class.

We stopped at our locker while I was maintaining my books I heard Louis calling. Louis, Emma's boyfriend.

They have been in relationship from like 2 years. They both are cute when they are together. "Hey, what's going on girls? "Louis asked. We both turned around to see his goofy smile.

Louis is very hot and mysterious type of person and they are like totally opposite my friend Emma is like a tom boy and Louis is innocent guy.

Always opposite things attract each other and their matter is same.

"Nothing", I reply dryly .

They started talking and I see Katherine my other friend I think I have a couple of good friends who are always by my side I have like Katharine , Veronica she is actually quite good in studies she always top in class , and then I have got Taylor she is my cousin, we are in same grade and she is like my friend. Katherine came and we start walking to a class as the bell ring we both are never late in class except sometime because of me watching Netflix and things.

Our 1st class is English I like English we have got couple of good chapters in it and the poems are just heart touching. I have a thing for English subject because sometimes I write poems, songs and etc.

As we sat in after 5 minutes class being to fill and our English teacher came in Ms. Mercy Abraham, she is quiet funny, she is mind blowing in acting, she acts a lot in class while explaining which make us laugh hard. As she entered everyone started removing there books and she started her lecture.

Today lecture is quiet boring though so I zoned out. I was thinking about my self like I don't have any boyfriend till yet not even a single and the key point is I am 17, and my friends like Katharine have Harrison, Emma have Louis, Taylor have Zach and veronica is single just like me.

I was busy thinking and I felt like somebody was shaking me. I turn around and saw it was Katherine who was shaking me.

"What happened"? I ask and frown, She indicated me towards the door and I saw there a handsome boy.

He came in and ask for permission. Ms. Merry, let him in and introduced him as a new boy in our school his name is Christopher, he has shifted here a week ago and blah blah.

He came and sit beside my table while he was paying attention to teacher, and I was paying attention to him he was like super cute and handsome and having curly brunette hair, a strand of hair falling to his eyes, cute nose, pink lips, birth mark just below his lips and his eyes are of like my favorite colour one which is emerald green eyes if I will look for a few seconds into his eyes I will be lost.

I hear a loud ring indicating that the lecture is over Katharine went out and I was packing my bag when Christopher came and waved his hand in front of me I was shocked.

"Is something wrong with my face or something written on it" , he ask which made me hit myself from inside.

"No, Why?" I said in a low tone.

"I saw you staring at me for like good 10 minutes"he said.

I was totally beet red I never felt this ashamed. What should I say, I thought for a minute." I was watching trees,which is just beside your the window" I said and hopped that he agree.

I think he was not ready to accept my stupid theory but he shrugged it off,for which I'm thankful.

He just went outside leaving the class and me all alone. I kinda think he is socially awkward, because he seems to be quite during the whole lecture and not even trying to talk to anyone.

He is totally weird but and same time he is cute and handsome. I went outside the to see my friends near locker. I went to mine and fiddle with my books. I saw Emma, she was talking to some one I guess so, I waved my hand and she instantly saw me and waved me back after a minute she came back to me.

"Hey, we are going to get a coffee after school at our usual spot so, would you like to join?" she asked while putting her books in her bag.

"No" I said as I've to work at Ice Cream Parlour.

"Okay"she said and bid goodbye.

After finishing school I went to Ice cream parlour which is just 10 minutes away from my school. This parlour is kind a cute one in our area, because of its interior and things. The name of the Ice cream parlour is "The Ice cream parlour",1st I felt weird about the parlour name then I remembered that Tiffany 's and Audrey Hepburn name their cat, "The cat".

I worked here on alternate days, like Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school to increase my pocket money, though I get a good amount of money but I want to earn mine, so I work. After working here for three hours I went home.
