Skyler (POV)

"Skyler get down, right now" I hear my mom yelling from downstairs.

I ruffled my hair and try to clean my eyes, while getting up from my bed, I went and picked my phone from table which was charging and I saw it was 4:00 pm in the Afternoon.

Jesus, I slept till Four pm, this is why I think Mom was yelling, I think she is good now, because of her hard voice, I can make sure she is okay from dizzy state, I told you all she is unstable for 4 - 5 days, after that she is good till her next therapy.

Why is she yelling but, I have to go down now and make some good answer to tell her.

"Coming, Mom" I said and tie my hair in bun and went down.

I saw her sitting on couch and watching some TV shows.

"Hey, Mom, feeling good?" I ask her and hugged her from behind.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Why were you sleeping till yet? what were you doing whole night?" She ask and pat her hand beside her indicating me to sit there.

"Ummm, Nothing, Nothing Mom, I was just tired, Why were you yelling my name so loud?" I said and yawn.

"I got a call form Emma telling me that, they are going for party, some boy of your class is holding party tonight they told me to inform you, that you have to come, without any option" she finish her what so ever talk.

"Mom, you know I don't like parties, I'm not going anywhere!" I said and try to get up from there but she pulled me back.

"You are going and that's it, I'm not giving options to choose between yes or no, I'm ordering you, Sky, life is not going to come at your door and knock,you have to go and find it " She said and roll her eyes.

"Mom, please, no" I said and make puppy face to melt her.

"No, this time it's not going to work on me, so you better start getting ready, they will come here to by 7:00 pm, they will ready you" She said, giving me a little heart attack.

"Sky, you need to go out and enjoy, you are teenager and you spend your whole time in your room, be like other teenager girls, they like outgoing, parties, shopping, but you you are totally different and I want my daughter to enjoy like them so, you are going and that's it"she finish her little what so ever speech.

I've to let my guards sometimes, I think to enjoy my life, she is right, I'll die being alone if I don't get out now.

"Okay, Okay, you win, I'll go, now you are happy? " I ask and while climbing stairs to go to my room for freshen up.

"Yeah, Emma and Katherine will come to get you ready and they will do your make up" She said I just nod. my head.

I call Emma telling her that ' yeah , I'm coming,' she is was so excited, god knows why.

I went to my washroom and took a long shower, just to relax my mind.

I came out wearing a rob and start drying my hair, when I hear my phone ringing I went near and picked my phone and saw Christopher name.

Me:Hey, what happen?

Christopher :Hey, Ummm Nothing happened!

Me:Then why did you call?

Christopher :I heard you are coming to this party and don't ask from where I came to know, I just know, because I have sources.

Me:Are you spying me or some of your person is spying me?

Christopher :No one is spying you, I told you I have sources. So meet me tonight in party, bye, my little cute Sky.

With that call was cut and I was left speechless, he freaking called me cute, though he have called me that few times indirectly but today he told me that directly.

First boy who appreciate me and this is my 1st party till yet, I don't know what I'm going to do over there?

It was correct seven and they haven't come till yet, I knew they are going to ditch me, this is what I'm meant for. I was lying in my bed and just watching street through my window.

I hear someone opening my door, I turn around and saw Emma and Katherine standing there and holding so many things in their hand.

"Hey, girls, come in" I said and walk forward and take things from their hand.

"Skyler , We brought some French fries and onion rings for you , 1st have it then we will do your make up" Emma said and went to use my washroom.

I started eating that, I was so hungry I haven't eating anything from tomorrow, Jesus how the heck I'm alive?

I finish eating till that time Emma was getting ready and Katherine, she was already ready to go.

"Get ready, to get ready from us" Katherine said and started throwing dress from my closet.

"Hey, watch, you are throwing my dress like garbage" I said while piling them again in my closet.

"Skyler try that one, the one we brought that day when we went for shopping" Emma said and I remove that dress from my closet and went to change.

I change my dress, my dress is off shoulder, its royal blue dress, till my waist the royal blue dress is with covered with royal blue lace and the other half which reach above my knee is just plain royal blue without any lace and this dress have a black belt around my waist.

I was Okay with this dress but I haven't worn this type of dress in any of our school party, I was feeling conscious about it.

I came out and saw Emma and Katherine gasping with their mouth open.

"What? Am I not looking good enough?" I ask while adjusting my dress.

"We didn't like it" they both said in unison.

"Should I go and change?" I ask and start walking towards my closet to find something different.

"We loved it, You are looking so gorgeous in it, I'm seeing you like this first time" They both said again in unison.

I stop in my path and smile hearing them saying this to me.

"Thanks, and can we continue?" I ask and went in front of long size mirror and they start cupping make-up on my natural face.

After half an hour, We all were ready to go before that Emma took a photo of us. I got a call from Christopher again, he is like a company calling me unnecessarily.

Me: Now what?

Christopher :You are looking good!

Me:How you know?

Christopher :I have sources!

With that again call was cut, we became friends yesterday if I would have known, he did be so annoying, I wouldn't have done friendship with him.

I went down and saw my Mom in kitchen,as she saw me she was flabbergasted, she came running towards me,and embrace me in her arms.

"Honey, you look so good" she said and kissed my cheeks.

"Thanks, Mom" I replied and kiss her back.

She took some photos of mine and some with Emma and Katherine and after that we left for party.

We all went inside Emma's car and drove off to our aimed house.

I was completely feeling uncomfortable but I have to get out of my cocoon, I always like to be soak in my cocoon never wanting to get out of it and try hard.

Katherine and Emma was humming some stupid rock song, I hate rocking songs, they just keep on shouting unnecessarily.

I just pray to Jesus that I return home without any regret!
