Skyler (POV)

His was asleep or acting dead, I don't know but I was really freaked up, my thoughts work pretty fast when I see such incidents.

We reached school and he parked his car, I didn't wait for him, I start walking towards the entrance without looking back .I reached my locker and saw Louis and Emma talking.

"Hey, guys, what's going on?, "I ask as I start taking books out of my locker.

"Nothing much, we just had a small fight!," He chuckle.

"It's because of him, "she  raises her eyebrows

"But at least tell me what happened?,  "I ask and lock my locker.

"We are not telling you that "Louis and Emma said in unison.

"Okay but there should be a reason to be angry! "I said and hear a Christopher voice.

"You should follow what you say" Christopher speaks out of somewhere. I  turn around to see him and saw a poker face.

"What? "We all asked in unison. He looked at me intensely and then averts his eyes from me to Louis and Emma.

"Nothing!" he shrugged off and walked ahead, leaving all three of us blindly. He turns around one last time to see me and then he was lost in the sea of people.

"Did something happen between you two? "Emma breaks the ice.

"I'm not telling you that "I repeat their words and walk to my class silently.

Walking through the sea of people, I still feel insecure; I haven't been alone as Christopher has been by my side. Living in bunch of people yet you still fell alone and lonely. The real lonely is when you are in between numbers of people and you still feel lonely.

People are losing human basic contacts; they are living in a world where they are totally dependent on technology, one day technology will destroy human behavior.

I reach my class and  Katherine came and sat beside me with a goofy smile playing around her lips.

"What happened with that smile? "I ask as I remove English books and place them on table.

"Nothing, can't I just smile, okay, let it be, I can't control myself, Harrison is taking me to his home on this coming Christmas!"She said and blushes.

"God look at you! You are blushing, "I said.

"So what I'm so excited I cannot control my smile, "she said and Ms. Abraham arrives.

Whole class greets her and se start her lecture, today we were reading a listen which speaks about nature. She has got few freckles and wrinkles around her eyes. Twenty minutes were left to finish the lecture; she can be sometimes boring and sometimes quiet exciting .

She keeps her book on the table and we all look up to see why she stopped.

"Some students in class are going to fail I guess "she said and now everyone was whispering something.

"Let me finish up and then you all can talk "she said and a complete silent was settled in.

"Last lecture Katherine, Skyler and Christopher were out of class, so I would like all three of you to stand, "she said and Katherine and me stood up and at that moment I notice, Christopher was not there in class.

"I gave few projects last lecture, do you know about that? "She asks and all eyes were on us.

"Yes we know and you made one group per project "Katherine speaks up for me and I stood silently, keeping my head low, because I was ashamed.
