Skyler (POV)

It was Tuesday, Halloween went well, I enjoyed last night with Tom and my parents.

I was so happy last night seeing my mom enjoying normal things makes me a lot happier then my school marks.

My depression is getting low day by day as I'm always with Christopher or I chat with him on Social networking sites. I don't feel as much lonely as I use to feel before Christopher entering in my life.

I use to always be upset, for people not talking to me, not taking me to parties, since he came in my life because of him, I was able to make it to that party, I just wanted to see him that night that is why I got ready otherwise no one has power to make me ready to go for a party.

Because of him I got a chance to dance with him and being so close to him that night, I felt something different, like I'm liking him. But it is all mixed feelings.

I have never liked someone, because of my unsteady state and less interaction with people, I never got a chance to know someone. Emma and  Katherine are like my friends but most of the times they are parting or hanging out without informing or involving me.

I got ready for school, I was wearing some sweater, jeans and sliver colour beanie to cover half my head.

In Florida, we live in Orlando, where there is cold atmosphere in winter seasons, daytime temperature is 29 degree Celsius, and at night it is get down till 19 degree Celsius.

It winter season and at night its get really cold.

I went down an sat down on sofa while waiting for mom to come out of her room, I was just shaking my feet in bored way, Its being 20 minutes and mom hasn't showed up.

I got curious of  what is she doing in? she  comes out till 7:00 am, but today its 7:40 am and she isn't here.

I went in her room and knocked twice but she didn't open.  Dad went early morning to his shop because of some import work, mom is alone in her room, might she did something to herself, Jesus, I can't let this happen.

I started banging door loudly, and try to unlock it, I found a spare key of their room on the table near TV.

I went and try to unlock her room, I unlocked it and saw a devastating thing, she was lying on floor unconscious in neat and tidy clothes.

I started getting hyper, tears started flowing down in the speed of Nigeria fall.

I splash some water on her face, shake her but she didn't budge from that floor.

I remove mobile from my pocket and saw Christopher name on top, If I call dad he will take time to reach here, because he is in his shop, My fingers directly dialled Christopher number without another thought.

I was crying continuously, the bell was ringing and  in second ring he picked his call.

I was weeping because of my continuous crying, I wasn't able to speak but I have to bring words out of my mouth.

"Hey Sky, is everything alright?why did you call so early? he asked in a matter of fact voice.

I try to suppress my tears and speak," I need you, now at my home, please come fast "I said in an appealing breathy brittle voice.

" Are you crying? "He ask in an alarming way.

" Please, come"I said that and keep my mobile on side table and attempt to wake my mom and she open her eyes little bit.

"Mom, Mom hey, I'm there, please open your eyes" I said and rub her arms solemnly.

She  half opened her eyes and still was unstable.

I hear my door bell ringing, I went and  open the door and saw Christopher standing there, sweat dripping from his forehead, I think he came here really fast by whatever means of transport.

"Hey, what happened? why are you crying! Sky, what's the matter?" He ask and walked in.

I told him about my mom fainting state and he went in to see my mom in her mom lying on floor.

"We need to take here to hospital" Christopher said and  pick her in a bridal style.

He carried my mom out, and I followed him outside, locking my home and taking some cash and cards with me.

I saw a Mercedes standing out of my house and a old guy, might be driver standing out.

" Open, the door" Christopher told that guy.

I remember it's the same car, I have seen Christopher coming school in this car.

That guy opened the door and Christopher made my mom sit behind and he hold the door for me, I sat in and he went ahead to sit beside the driver sit.

"Take us to the hospital" Christopher said and his driver starts driving, and I was just in shocked.

I called dad and informed him and he said he is on the way, to hospital.

We were going to ' Central Hospital '  which only takes thirty minutes to reach there.

As we reached, I saw the hospital is very huge, full of mirrors, I assume that hospital is of  35 to 40 floors.

Christopher carried her in same way, just like before, and walk into hospital and I followed him.

As we entered, Christopher went to receptionist taking something, after that my mom was carried by ward boy and nurse to her room.

We followed her till her room and doctor told us to remain outside.

I wasn't able to control my tears, they were just flowing, I felt someone arms around my shoulders and solemnly pressing it.

I turned and  saw Christopher arms was around me,  "Everything will be alright, she is under best doctors"he said and continue rubbing.

" Thanks, Thanks for getting her here really fast"I said and my eyes met his eyes and he grin.

"She is under guardian , you want to eat something?" he asked and I nod, because I was staving from last night, I haven't eat anything, and if I don't eat anything soon there will be growling voice coming out of my stomach.

We both stand to go out but before that  I last time looked at my mom through window, she was injected with some blood supplying packets.

I was in a complete new area, I don't know where we are but the place look very posh.

After 15 minutes walk, we reached a huge hotel named ' Flotall Grand Hotel'  We both went in and Christopher sit on a vacant table.

We were greeted with a special drink and after that we ordered our food.

I ordered ' The Cuban Sandwich' and Christopher ordered ' Conch Fritters' we ate our food silently.

We were done with our food when Christopher spoke, "Please can you get two  ' Key lime pie'".

"What's that?" I asked with a raised eyebrows.

"It's a dessert which is awesome, this hotel provides best food in Orlando" He said and  drink some of his leftover  drink.

"How do you know that?" I asked again getting curious every other second.

"My dad  owns a company so, we come here on daily basis" he said in a matter of fact.

"Okay, Okay, So this is why you come to school with Mercedes, you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth ?" I ask, I didn't know his dad owns a company, god!

"Yeah, I thought you know, because whole school girls knows about me," he said and I remained stocked.

"I don't like to keep information of every other guy, just like our school girls, they all are just stupid hoe and bullying kid"I said letting my anger down a bit.

We were served with a dessert, and Jesus I should say that I've never eaten such a good dessert in my whole life.

Christopher paid bill and we both walked out and went to hospital while taking about random things.
