Skyler (POV)

After that We studied well, without creating any disturbance, I really enjoy his company, He is really a good teacher I must say that, when he was teaching me every now any then his curly hair was falling towards his eyes, I was on edge to touch his hair and I was about to pull back that strand but suddenly he just turned around to pick some book.

Jesus, what is happening to me? Why I'm always thinking about him wanting to touch him!

When Mom saw Christopher getting down from stairs she just freaked out, like he is your boyfriend? and all.

Let me take you to flashback.

"Thanks, Christopher for coming, and thanks a lot, you really teach well",I said and followed him down stairs.

" It's okay Sky, No need to say thanks", He said and ruffle his hair.

I saw my  Mom coming out of her room, fixing her beanie.

As her eyes trail to Christopher who was ahead of me, she grin and came forward.

"Who is this handsome boy?" Mom ask me while Christopher was just standing.

"He is so cute, this tiny little curls of his are like perfect curls every girl dream to have" She said in whole astonishment.

" Sky, who is this guy, is he your boyfriend? , if he is your boyfriend, I'm proud of you, now at least you can have your 1st kiss, he is so good" She said and came beside me and kiss my cheeks.

She said all this things without any break, she was not giving me chance to speak, and clear her so called love story.

Christopher was just standing and watching my mother fake rant, he was looking between me and my mom.

"Mom, at least give me a chance to speak, 1st of all he is my school friend who is tutoring me, the one I told you few days back, remember? and 2nd, he is not my boyfriend so I won't kiss him". I said and saw Christopher face getting low, like he is hurt by my words or something.

"I know Sky, you are lying, I know you are shy, you won't tell about your relationship, its okay I understand you! she exclaimed.

I push Christopher towards exit gate of our house, and told him to go otherwise my mom will blow his mind.

I open gate for Christopher and bid him goodbye.

"Bye, Christopher, see you tomorrow in school and please go as fast as you can otherwise my mom will say I even lose my varginity too you!" I said and Christopher grin after that I close the door.

I made my mom understand that he is just my friend and nothing else, I would like to be his girlfriend, as he is kind hearted and all good to me, but I don't think so he is interested in me, he is like a jock of our school and I'm just a nerd who is a friend of him.

He won't even think of making me his girlfriend!

This is how my family embarrassed me in front of him, telling him clearly that I have not feel  my 1st kiss, sometimes my parents acts so gross.

I was shifting in my bed continuously from half and hour, but not getting any sleep, Its 11:30 pm in night and I haven't sleep.

I hear my mobile vibrating, I picked my phone and saw a message from Christopher, as I saw his name there was an unknown grin on my face.

I saw his message and it says,

Christopher :Hey, don't feel ashamed of your parents, even though they indirectly told me about your 1st kiss

Me:I know, they are just curious to know my personal life!

Christopher :Okay, But Why was your mom wearing a beanie inside the house? I'm just asking!

What should I say, I think I should say him the truth, obviously he is my friend so he can understand. Only Emma and Katherine knows about my mom, I don't like to tell people and gain sympathy, I already have lots of sympathy collected from getting bullied or being depressed.

Me:It a long story

Christopher :I have time

Urgh he wants to know, right know.

Me: please after hearing this, don't break our friendship.

Christopher :I won't, just say it I'm getting curious.

I gain all my courage and type

Me:She is having Lymphoma around her neck which can be treated but require lots of patience.

Christopher :Oh, I got it, don't feel sad, it will get cure, just believe in her,  and don't even think I'm going to break our friendship on this basis.

Me:I have faith in my mom, she will get cured.

Christopher :that's my brave little Sky.

As I read this message, I felt my cheeks burning and going whole pink.

Me:Goodnight Christopher

I got an instant reply saying same but with little heart emoji.

I kept my phone aside and again lie down in my bed covering myself with my blanket and feeling cold.

Tomorrow is Halloween dad has brought some pumpkin for decoration and we are not having school tomorrow, so its good.

I like Halloween, Everyone getting dressed up in costumes and child playing trick or treat asking for chocolate or money, even Tom go out with me for trick and treat.

I slept when, I don't know, I was thinking about Halloween and god knows when I slept.

Next morning I hear my mom calling me. I got ready and went down to see her in kitchen making breakfast.

"Hey, mom, good morning" I said and sit on a chair and ask for coffee.

"Good morning, I need you to carve that pumpkin into something," she said and I got excited.

I love carving pumpkin last time I carved it into some monster face and this time I have to search to carve something new.

I end up making skull face on pumpkin and mom was preparing some cake to give people and dad was helping her out.

I kept that pumpkin in his place and mom placed some food outside the house so that evil spirits don't enter our house.

I had to ready Tom for his 3rd Halloween , he is becoming a vampire, with some blood dripping out of his mouth, I have lots of work and then I have to get ready as I'm going out with Tom.

I took his vampire cloths into his room and get him done ready after, 1 hour he was ready to go out.

He was wearing a red and black mixed vampire cloth and I painted some blood marks using acrylic paints.

I took him out and mom and dad was shocked to see him like this, they called him and kissed him on his cheeks and gave him some chocolate and money to put in his Halloween bag.

I was wearing some witch types of clothes with a hat and curled my hairs but not applying much makeup, I just put some dark red lipstick.

I took him outside after that, he was asking so nicely saying trick or treat some were giving money, while others were giving him chocolate and candies.
