me and tyler walked around school talking a bit. he had depression like me. he was a lot like me. It felt nice to be able to relate to someone. after that we spotted josh and jenna talking.
"look at that...our crushes" tyler says.
"yes I love Jenna" I joke. we both giggle. "I don't like josh in the way"
"sure..." he had a smirk on his face.
"I'm serious" I replied, smiling a bit.
"whatever you say. me and brendon know you like him" he grinned.
we went over to josh and jenna.

"hey!" Jenna smiled at me. jenna wasn't amused by tyler. she didn't think much of him. unimpressed is the right word. "hello" I say to josh and jenna.
"Tyler did you tell them about-" josh was cut off by tyler shushing him.
"tell us about what?" I asked.
"n-nothing" he replied. jenna rolled her eyes. "it can't be that big of a deal"
"I joined the band!' josh smiled "josh!" I jumped into his arms and hugged him.

tyler was in a band with two of his friends who left the band. josh has joined now which is good! "and..." josh started. "no ones gonna turn up josh" Tyler mumbled. "another concert?" I ask. "maybe" "that's great!" I exclaim.
"see Tyler? cat is proud" josh says.
" And your family" josh added.
"I'll ask my brother and his girlfriend to come" I chimed in. "I'm just nervous"
"same man, but we'll get through it. together" josh says to his best friend. the bell rang and we all went off to our next class.

after school, tyler gave me a list of songs they were performing. me and brendon went home and looked over the songs. "Newport music hall" brendon grinned. "Classic" i replied
