I would always be alone... I was the odd one. That's why I didn't have any friends.
One day you came to my life, I was mesmerized by the way you look and acted. I knew that you were special from back then. You acknowledge me even if everyone avoided me.
You were so different. You praised me and smiled at me when we met. From that moment I thought that I want to protect you. You were the first person who did those things to me aside from my mother.
We became friends and practically grew up with each other. We celebrated things by our own simple way. We had sleep over to each other's house and became attached to one another. I chuckled at the memory of the two of us not willing to be separated from one another.
You're my first love. My first crush.
Every year, we grew. I saw you grow and you became a fine lady. I could feel my face heat up by your presence and at the same time I was at ease. I knew that you were like home.
When my mother passed away, you were with me. When my father became more strict, you helped me. When I was tired from my duties, you took care of me. During my games, you were always there cheering for me. When I was so confused, you guided me.
You were so clumsy because of your sickness but I couldn't blame you. I personally took care after you. Because I love you...
All of these years I love you, until now. Even if we fought many times, we always made up with each other. I have to admit, being around you makes me complete.
When we grew up, we had different priorities but you always had time to understand me and comfort me. You always had time for me.
I could feel my heartbeat becoming louder everytime I see you. I hoped that you wouldn't notice it. I always hid these feelings from you. And every moment, I could always see that you're becoming more beautiful.
My breath hitches when you're beside me. I was so familiar of you that I already recognized everything about you. Your presence, fragrance and smile.
You beside me felt good. I couldn't wish for more.
I sighed, I slowly tucked you into bed and kissed your forehead.

"I love you..." I said to you everytime I see you sleep.
I will always love you. You're my partner. My friend. My bestfriend through the years.
And that would never change.
