Ken lay in his bed and thought of the day that had passed. He closed his eyes and remembered Jordan and how she felt. Now she was gone and he had chased her away. He reached for his phone, then stopped himself. She didn't need him anymore. He tried to convince himself that he didn't need her either. She was being selfish. She was neglecting him. He sighed and let sleep take him, satisfied with his own conclusions.
