((BTW, Alesa and Adam are my OTP so I don't care if they're not dating, in this story they are. Anyway, living in a post apocalyptic city like the Fallout 4 universe would have some sort of effect on a couple like them in my opinion. lol I'm done now. New characters!! Yay!! Enjoy the chapter!))
After the fight, you all went to the diner near the center of town. Well, everyone except the lieutenant. She said she had to polish her gun. So you took her soldiers with you and paid for their food.
"That was a job well done guys!" You cheered, raising your nuka-cola.
"Yeah! And the way you blew up that suicider was awesome!" A soldier grinned.
"Hey, thanks! What's your name?" You asked him.
"My names Evan." He smiled, taking a sip of his cola.
"Nice to meet you Evan. What about you?" You asked the red haired girl.
"My name is Morgan." She smiled.
"I want to ask you guys something. Is the lieutenant always that rude to you guys?" Evan paused and sighed.
"Yeah. She hasn't been the same since her mentor died. I guess his death really tormented her and she just doesn't care about the way she treats us." You thought for a minute and decided something.
"You guys want to join us? You could live in the tower and come back to fight for President Aphmau if she needs you." You suggested. They shared a glance and then grinned.
"Yeah! We'd love that!" Morgan replied.
"Great its settled. I'll run it by Jess and we can leave in the morning." You smiled.
You all finished eating and left the restaurant. Morgan and Evan went back to the military building and you took the guys to President Aphmau's house. Jess said it would be fine if you wanted to take Morgan and Evan, but suggested you run the idea by the Lieutenant. They are her soldiers after all. So you guys went back to your rooms and gathered your things. Your father decided to stay in town and the next morning you met the two by the gate and set out. You assured them you talked to the lieutenant for them. You all walked back to the tower.
When you arrived you taught them the code knock. Inside, Barney opened the door and welcomed you all in. You led everyone upstairs so the new soldiers could meet the rest of the group. You pulled up two more chairs for them and everyone sat in a circle.
"Guys, this is Morgan and Evan. They came from our allied town. Their old commander was rude to them, so I offered them a home here." You explained. You nodded to Alesa and she introduced herself and Mason. Then after her, Barney introduced himself and so on, and so on until it got back to you. You introduced to them your daughter and she walked over to Morgan.
"Your hair is pretty!" She smiled, taking a few strands of the copper hair in her hand.
"Aw thank you! I think your hair is pretty too!" Morgan replied.
The rest of the night went by fine. Your daughter and Morgan spent time braiding each other's hair, a technique you knew little about. It warmed your heart to see them bonding like that. Alesa asked if you'd go with her to check on Adam's condition. So of course you agreed and went to the medical office with her.
You approached the table to see him fast asleep. He was laying shirtless with a bandage wrapped around his abdomen. Alesa sat down next to the table and placed her hand around his.
"Adam? How are you feeling?" In response to her question, a snore escaped Adam's lips. She giggled. "Maybe tomorrow then." She kissed his cheek and walked out. You got up slowly and followed after. Then you went upstairs and gave Morgan a bed in Alesa's and Mason's room. You put another bed in the room with Ross for Evan, and retreated to your own room for the night.
