"PTSD?? No there's no way--!"

"Sweetie, just listen. I know you're obviously not over this and something needs to be done. I was trying to hug you last night and you scratched up my hands with your nails. That isn't a normal reaction. Please baby, please let us help you."  Max begged, his hands moved to your shoulders.

You stared into his eyes for a while and thought about his words. Yeah he was probably right. You ran out of the tower last night and hurt your husband because of the flashback you had. He was right, you had to get help before something worse happened to someone else in the tower.

"Okay, I'll do it. Let's go talk to Barney." You agreed. Max's lips stretched into a smile.

"Thanks hunny, its for the best I promise." He kissed your forehead and the two of you went to the medical office. You found Barney standing at the table making stimpaks.

"Hi Barney." You spoke, causing him to turn around and take notice of your presence.

"Oh (Y/n). I see Max talked to you. I just want to talk first." He explained, pulling over three chairs to the desk which he sat behind.

"So did Max tell you why I think you had that flashback last night?" Barney asked.

"Yeah, and I think you're right. It could be PTSD. I've been having these frequent nightmares too, all usually about that day with Luna." You sighed. Barney's eyebrows raised at the mention of her name.

"I see. That's the event then? Okay, I know the best course of action." He nodded, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"What are you going to do?" You asked curiously.

"Cognitive-behavioral therapy. We need you to experience the event again, but in a way that helps your mind realize it can move on from it." Barney explained.

"Okay, I trust you Barney. When do we start?" You asked.

"I need to come up with a plan for our therapy sessions. So not today and probably not tomorrow. But I will get on it soon and let you know when it's ready." He smiled. You half-smiled back and left the office. Returning to the gun range, you saw the kids putting away their guns and leaving.

"These guys are doing great! They could be ready for a mission soon!" Ross cheered when he saw you. You smiled back.

"That's awesome. If Ross thinks you're ready you must be! When do you guys want to go?" You asked them.

"Tomorrow!" They shouted in unison. You laughed at their big excited eyes, and huge smiles. You considered it, then agreed.

"Alright guys, we'll be leaving 7am sharp! Make sure to get a good nights sleep, and read over the fighting books in the common room." You told them. They both shouted "YAY!" and ran off.

"So uh, who are you taking tomorrow?" Ross asked nonchalantly.

"You can come if you want, Ross." He grinned.

"YAY!!" He shouted and skipped off to the common area. You laughed at his antics then went to find the others you planned to bring. Adam agreed and later you told Max about the mission. Of course he wanted to go too, so you agreed. Though he was unsure about your health after just finding out you had PTSD. But you assured him you'd be fine.
