((Hey guys. Before you read this, I was to say PTSD is very serious. If you know anyone who is suffering, make sure to take care of them and be sure they get some help. I'm in no way making fun of this awful disorder, I am using it as something to help move along my plot. Thanks for understanding. PSA over. I have not played Fallout 4 in a few months since I moved out, but I promise I'll get to some action parts soon! Thanks for reading, enjoy!!))

Everything was dark, so dark. A coldness crept over your body and you shivered. Suddenly a light turned on and the door across from you opened. In walked a blonde girl, smoking a cigarette. She tossed the butt onto the floor and smirked at you.

"Long time no see. How you been, little bird?" Luna sneered, sauntering closer. You sunk back in the chair, but couldn't move much due to the ropes restraining you.

"Stop this. I know this isn't real. It's just a dream!" You groaned, shutting your eyes and trying to wake up. When you opened them, Luna was a few inches from your face.

"I'm as real as can be, little bird. Now sing for me or I'll break your throat." She demanded. You pursed your lips, not sure why you hadn't woken from the dream yet. Her cold hand clenched around your throat tightly.

"I'm waiting little bird! What's the password password password?!" Her face began melting in front of your eyes and the word "password" got louder and louder. The room started melting too. Everything was getting hot and you started sweating, then screaming.

"(Y/n)! Wake up, it's another nightmare!" Max shouted. You sat upright and opened your eyes. You looked to Max and he leaned closer, you wrapped your arms around him.  He held you tightly to his chest while you relaxed after the rough nightmare.

Just in time, there was a knock on the door. Max hesitantly let go of you to answer it. On the other side was Barney. He was smiling hopefully, but grimaced when he saw tears on your cheeks. He told you both that he was ready to start the treatment. Inside the medical office, Barney had you sit in a regular office chair.

Barney sat in the opposite chair and asked Max to leave. You could tell Max wanted to protest, to say he would rather stay by your side than leave, but you assured him you would be fine. Barney knew what he was doing. So Max kissed your forehead and left.

"Alright (Y/n), after doing some research I decided this is the best route for us to take. We need to discuss the events you are keeping inside. Once they're out in the open, they won't seem so scary anymore, alright?" You nodded and you both began talking.

Over the next 3 hours you both went over every detail of that day. That treacherous day that still haunted your nightmares. At the end, you cried a bit and Barney encouraged you. Explaining that it was the frustration and negative feelings flowing out. You calmed down, and Barney stood to retrieve something. When he came back, he had ropes in his hands. He slowly walked toward you, clearly showing you the ropes.

"(Y/n), I'm not going to hurt you ok? I'm just going to put these on you and ask you to stay calm. Can you do that?" He stood in front of you, watching your transfixed gaze on the ropes. You snapped yourself from the trance and looked up at Barney. You nodded for him to continue. You watched as he slowly tied the rope around one of your wrists, then went for the other.

Your heart rate began speeding up and before he could tie the second hand, you jerked it away. He pulled back the rope and grabbed your hand gently. You looked at his face, and managed to relax again. He noticed and brought your hand to the arm rest again, slowly he tied that one too. He backed up and returned to his chair. Grabbing a stopwatch, he started the timer and watched you.

For maybe a minute, you were fine. You felt totally calm because you knew nothing would happen, but once the minute ended you began to feel nervous. Your hands started shaking and your feet tapped against the concrete floor. When you looked to Barney, he was writing something on his clipboard. You bit down on your lip hard enough to draw blood, and your pulse quickened even more. It was starting to irritate you. Why was he letting you sit there so long? It felt like an hour had passed. Suddenly your breathing became labored, you squirmed in your seat, and you started scratching at the arm rests, causing splinters to break off under your fingernails.

"Alright! Hey, relax!" In under a second, Barney cut the ropes and released you. He stepped back to give you room to stand up. Slowly you stood and sighed. Realizing you failed, you apologized quietly.

"(Y/n) it's ok! You did good for the first time, don't apologize. It's just an exercise. The more we have these sessions, the more in control of yourself you'll be. Ok?" He smiled. You smiled back and nodded. "Good, see you tomorrow." With that, you left his office.
