((Sorry if the chapter is crap. It's been hard for me to think of anything and the end is near, so yeah. Enjoy?))
The next morning came and you reluctantly left the warmth of your bed. Throwing on some clothes, you left your room and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. Max and Adam were already there cooking up some eggs and waffles. The smell lured you in so you decided to get a glass of juice. Pulling the jug from the fridge, you placed it on the counter but as you tried to pour it, the jug slipped and pushed the glass off the counter. It fell to the floor and shattered, juice spilling everywhere. This caught the guys attention and they stared in shock. You set the jug back in the fridge to clean up the mess, feeling agitated with yourself.
"You're skilled." Adam chuckled. "Tell me, where did you learn to fight like that?" He joked, causing the guys both to erupt in laughter. You stopped and stared at the fridge. This words reminded you of something. Suddenly you were thrown into a flashback and you could remember everything from that day.
Those words were the same ones the courser said to you when he spotted you fighting some hounds. He teleported you to the institute where you met the leader and you were offered a courser job. You declined so, quite nicely, they teleported you back to where you were, and erased your memory.
Adam assured it was only a joke, so you told them about the flashback you just had. They listened intently and by the end they had expressions of disbelief on their faces. They questioned it but you assured that it really happened. So you felt happy you finally remembered, but a cold feeling on your sock brought your attention to the puddle on the floor. Quickly you cleaned the puddle and broken glass, then carefully poured some juice without breaking anything.
Everyone finished breakfast and later on, you helped your daughter practice her shooting in the range. After an hour, she said she was tired so you left the range and let her go off. You went to your office and decided to listen to the radio for a bit. You began writing in your journal about the last few days, when something on the radio caught your attention. It was a broadcast from the institute. You listened closely. Someone was speaking to the commonwealth, addressing everyone and explaining that they would be showing more presence and any opposition will be faced with supreme force. You made a mental note not to oppose them in any future meetings.
