Hours later...
"(Y/n)! You should see something!" Max shouted rushing toward you. You followed him all the way to the top floor where there was an unused room with a huge hole in the wall. As you both approached the edge of the broken floor, you stared wide-eyed over the Commonwealth. Out by the harbor you saw a huge fire where the Brotherhood of Steel's airship was. Someone destroyed it, most likely killing a whole lot of members in the process. The fire was huge, the smoke billowing high into the sky.

Max held out a pair of binoculars for you to take. You thanked him and put them up to your eyes. As you looked closer, you could make out two streaks of blue touch down a ways from the explosion and disappear. Your mind raced with thoughts of evacuating everyone from the tower, or letting them stay. In the end you decided it was too far to worry about. Max dragged two chairs across the floor and placed them facing the view. You both took your seats.

"Wow. Who knew it would come to this? The Brotherhood and the Institute." Max scoffed. You said nothing and handed over the binoculars. He took them and peered out at the explosion.

"War never changes. There was too much tension out there, something like this was bound to happen." You explained.

"Yeah, guess you're right." He shrugged, placing the binoculars on the floor. "Hey, want a Nuka-Cola?" He asked. You nodded so he went to the fridge in the corner of the room and grabbed two. You thanked him and drank quickly. The drink helped calm your nerves a little as you wondered how that would affect the commonwealth now.

Interrupting your thoughts, came the chime of a bell. That meant they needed you downstairs. You both got up and went down to the first level where Red was standing just inside the door.

"Guys! It's urgent! Jess is losing control of their town! People are freaking out over the broadcast from the institute! You have to help." Red begged. There were some scratches on his face and he was very out of breath, meaning he probably ran as quick as he could. Without a word, you grabbed a couple weapons and your backpack. You joined Red by the door and smiled at the men around you.

"Well, looks like we got some work to do!" Adam, Max, and Red followed your lead in grabbing weapons and bags to start on your way.
