Chapter 11

Normans pov

we ate and laughed. All in all I was having a great time. She was absolutely stunning. I have never been so attracted to a woman in my life. Her eyes were beautiful, I could just stare in them all day. She noticed and stared right back into mine. Were we having a moment here? Does this mean she feels the same way? Come on norman this is it! Make your move! I was about to lean in when she turned her head to look at the sky. Dammit! Waited too long!

"the sun is setting." She smiled.

i didn't look. I only watched her. The way the sun was hitting her made her more radiant and even more beautiful. I quickly took my phone out and snapped a picture. She quickly turned to me,

"did you just take a picture of me?"

shit. Caught.

"umm ya." I said nervously cause I didn't want to tell her the reason.

thankfully she didn't question me, just shrugged and starred back at the setting sun.

"it's beautiful." She smiled.

i saw this as a perfect flirting moment,

"ehh it's alright." I shrugged.

she turned to me confused and I just shrugged,

"it's alright compared to you sitting here."

Smooth norman real smooth.

kayla pov

I blushed. Was he really trying to flirt with me? No way. He couldn't be. He's norman reedus for god sake and I'm just me. There's nothing special about me. We watched the sun go down and the stars started to shine. I'd never seen so many.

"wow" I whispered.

he smiled and layed back in the grass,"ya know ya get a better view laying down."

i blushed again and nodded. I turned to lay down but something was under my head. I looked to see his arm. I looked to him and he smiled,

"thought ya might want a head rest."

Dammit! He's making me blush an awful lot tonight. I smiled and lay with his arm under my head looking up. This all couldn't be real, this has to be a dream. There is no way I'm lying here star gazing with norman. My mind kept going back to when our eyes met earlier. Was he going to kiss me? Was he trying to flirt? Did he actually like me! I decided to test it. I waited for wind to blow by and shivered,

"ya cold?" He asked.

"I'm ok." I sighed watching what he would do.

"no come here." He smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me into him.

i now had my head laying on his chest and he was cuddling me. This was perfect. I could stay in this moment forever. I felt him shift and pull something out of his pocket. His phone again. He held it infront of us. Were we really about to take a picture?

"smile" he said.

"couldn't frown even if I wanted to" I said.

we took a few pics, some serious and some funny. When we were done I said,

"can cross tht off the bucket list. Selfie session with norman reedus."

He laughed," what? I'm known for my selfies."

"I know." I whispered.

"ya got a twitter?" He asked.

"Ya it's @KaylaRolfes." I smiled. "Why?"

"You'll see." He smiled and then checked his watch," shit it's gettin late. I gotta memorise those lines so I don't look like an idiot infront of the new cast member tomorrow."

i smiled. He really didn't know it was me. I whispered,"couldn't look like one if ya tried."

he drove me home that night and I ran upstairs to go to bed. I was so excited for tomorrow, but at the same time nervous as hell.
