Chapter 14

Normans pov

i readied myself to start running and become daryl. I heard the scream and that was my que. I began running into the woods towards the others as the cameras followed me. I tried to remain in character but something about that scream sounded familiar to me and I didn't like it. It made my heart skip a beat and I don't even know the girl playing Lilly. Well will find out in a few seconds. I ran into the opening where I saw the walker extra on top of the girl. I began my lines,

"ey ugly!"

The walker extra got ignored me like he was supposed to and I acted as I shot an arrow into his head. He fell over "dead" and I walked over to the girl. My character may be curious as to who she was but I think I as myself was more. The girl got up not facing me and brushed off her pants. I continued the scene,

"ya alright? Ain't bit are ya?"

"no I'm alright." She said.

wait I knew that voice. My eyes widened and I dropped my crossbow when she turned around. It was kayla. I couldn't keep character anymore, I was too surprised. I heard everyone in the cast and crew begin to laugh and so did kayla.

"ya got to be shittin me!" I laughed and ran up and hugged her, holding her tightly as she laughed.

she pulled out of the hug and looked up at me blushing," surprised?"

"umm ya!" I kept my arm around her and looked to everyone,"you all knew about this!"

They all nodded and we continued laughing. I couldn't believe this! This was beyond perfect! After a few more minutes of everyone laughing at my expression Robert said,

"alright now we all had our fun we actually have to get to work now"

"means ya gotta run again" she laughed.

i playfully rolled my eyes and groaned,"but I don't wanna run!" I whined.

She punched me playfully,"get up there lazy ass"

"hey that's mr. Lazy ass to you." I joked.

she laughed and blushed. I loved making her blush, I thought it was beautiful. I looked back to her one last time before I ran back to my spot so we could start the scene again.

kaylas pov

Well my first day as an official member of the walking dead cast came to an end. I ran back to my trailer as fast as I could because I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. I ran inside, closed the door and jumped on my couch and screamed like a little girl into the cushion. I have never been so happy. I kept replaying Normans reaction to seeing me for the first time as Lilly. It was priceless. It was adorable. I woke from my memories when I hear a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I yelled sitting up.

in walked Lauren, she was all smiles,"hey girl!"

She ran over to me and we both just squealed, today went beyond perfect.

"his face was priceless!" She laughed.

"I know!" I laughed.

we were interrupted again by another knock at he door," who is it!"

"norman" we heard.

lauren gave me that look that only a best friend gives you when the guy you have a crush on walks in the room. I laughed,

"come in."

he walked in,"hey Kay...o hey Lauren I didn't know you were here."

She smiled and got up,"hey norm and it's alright I was just leaving. I'll text ya later." She told me.

i nodded and she left. I took a big gulp. I was still super nervous to be alone with norman. He stood there and smiled at me,

"so how long you guys been planning that?

i laughed,"actually I didn't know they wanted to surprise you till today. Robert offered mope the job the day after Lauren's party."

he smiled and sat on the couch next to me. I blushed and looked down

"hell that's one surprise I'll never forget" he laughed.

"good." I smiled.

He smiled back and we remained silent for a minute. I took a deep breath and asked,

"norman?"

"yea?" He asked.

"on twitter...what did you mean when you called me your favorite girl?" I asked nervously.

i have never been so nervous for an answer in my life. He stayed silent for a minute. Thinking about what he was going to say,

"well you're my favorite girl." He laughed.

"but you barely know me." I whispered.

"I know you enough to know how special and how important you are to me." He said smirking.

my face had t be glowing bright red. There is no way I heard that right. My heart began to pound and I started to sweat. You never think you're celebrity crush will ever feel the same for you and here's mine telling me he does. I wanted to scream, jump up and dance, hell I wanted to kiss him! Norman chuckled,

"you alright?"

i looked deep into his bright blue eyes," I'm perfect. Everything is perfect."
