Chapter 36

I took a few deep breaths as the announcer was starting the panel. We were all being introduced separately. I watched from back stage as chandler, Michael, and Scott were announced leaving just me and Norman backstage. I was beyond nervous. I don't do good in crowds and since I was the newest cast member I was being announced last. Norman kissed my head and squeezed my hand as the announcer said to the crowd,

"everyone's favorite zombie killing redneck badass daryl dixon norman reedus!"

The crowd went crazy as he walked out onto the stage. I watched in astonishment at him. He was truly an amazing man and I couldn't believe he belonged to me. Once the crowd died down the announcer started speaking again. My heart started pounding with nerves.

"And last but certainly not least. The newest member of the cast Lilly gentry kayla rolfes!"

i took a deep breath and began walking out onto the stage. The light hit me brightly as The crowd was cheering loudly. I smiled to the crowd and waved as I made my way to the table with the rest of the cast. My chair was right next to Norman's. I sat down and once the crowd died back down it was open to them for questions. Most of Norman's questions were for hugs. I smiled and then a question was directed towards me. I smiled as a woman asked,

"kayla ARE you alright? With your attack? What actually happened?"

i smiled and nodded,"yes I am thank you so much for asking. Ummm and it was just being in the wrong place at the wrong time." I felt a hand grab onto mine under the table and I looked down to see it was Norman's. I smiled and spoke back into the mic,"but hey atleast I won't need much make up on set"

the crowd laughed and were moved onto a different question. Norman removed his hand from mine which instantly made my hand feel cold. I sighed but put on a smile. The next question was from what looked like a 10 year old girl,

"hi I'm Natalie and my question is for norman and kayla"

norman an and I both looked at each other and back to he young girl.

"Go ahead sweetheart" I smiled into the mic.

"are you guys dating?" She smiled.

my body froze and I got wide eyed. I didn't know how to answer this. The whole room got very quiet waiting for our response. I was about to say something when I felt norman wrap his arm around my shoulders. I looked at him shocked as he said into the mic,

"yes we are. She's my girl"

the crowd started cheering as I blushed bright red. He had just made us public! He wanted people to know! I was so happy that I felt tears reach my eyes. Norman kept his arm around me as the next question was asked,

"my question is for kayla. My question is how did this all get started? Like how did you become a cast member and how did you and norman get together?"

i smiled and said,"well I first interned for Robert and then I helped Lauren with her lines with Lilly and everything just kinda fell into place. As for norman? Well I had been a huge fan of him for years and before the show I was bullied and made fun of so I was very quiet and not confident at all so I stayed clear of norman. I thought he would think of me as a weirdo. Lauren threw me a party and I met the whole cast including norman and that night we just clicked and the rest is history. I still think he is too good for me, but I truly love him."

i looked over to norman and blushed. He smiled and kissed my head as the crowd awed. About a half hour later the panel ended and we were lead back to out booths. Except this time I was at the same booth as norman. Sean's was next to ours. Everyone I met today was very concerned about my neck and happy for me and norman. One guy came up with his 3 year old son. He set his son on the table while norman and I met him together. He instantly grabbed onto me and hugged me tightly. I chuckled and hugged the boy back.

"I'm sorry he absolutely loves you"the dad chuckled.

i laughed and norman chuckled,"well dang everyone's trying to steal my girl"

i laughed he'd and sat the boy back down on the table. Norman gave him a high five and the dad shook my hand and then Norman's,

"you're one lucky man norman. Ya got yerself a keeper"

norman an smiled and turned to me,"I sure do"

i blushed and they left. 3 hours later and convention ended. Knowing we had to be up early for the flight to the next town, We got back to the hotel and said bye to sean who was thrilled we were public now. Once in our room I changed into my pajamas and heard my phone buzz. I got a notification. I looked to see a picture I was tagged in from norman. I clicked on the link and my eyes widened. It was the picture of him kissing me on the lips.

i smiled so wide as I ran into the other room to find norman standing by the bar in just his pj bottoms. I ran up to him and jumped into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist as I kissed him hard. He was startled at first but grabbed onto my bottom and kissed me back. I pulled away from the kiss as he held onto me and we just smiled at each other.

"I love you" I whispered.

"love you too" he smiled kissing me hard again.

he was completely taking my breath away. I pulled away to look at him again and he whispered into my ear,

"I do believe you owe me something"

i froze at at the sound of his voice. It was so seductive. I starred back into his lust filled eyes and smirked,

"ya might want to call sean so he doesn't interrupt"

he smirked and squeezed my ass causing me to gasp,"I don't think he will be interrupting"

i smiled as he kissed me hard and carried me into the bedroom, closing the door behind him.
