The world knows everything

3 weeks later Kayla's pov

I stare at myself in the mirror of my dressing room. Just thinking about how much everything has changed for me. A little under a year ago I was a nobody, now I'm a somebody. I'm engaged to the man of my dreams, I have an amazing career, and I'm going to be having a baby. If you told me all this was going to happen, I would've told you to go get checked by a doctor. It's been a few weeks since the proposal and I'm still as giddy as I was then. My stomach was noticeably bigger and you could see the small bump with the dress I was wearing. I wanted it to be that way since tonight we are making the official announcement to the fans on the talking dead. Tonight the episode where Lilly gets kidnapped is airing and they had asked me and norman to be tonight's guest. We decided it would be a perfect time to let the fans know. A knock came at my dressing room and norman popped his head in. He was wearing a full black suit, looking very handsome.

"Hey you ready?" He asked.

"Yea" I smiled.

I couldn't help but feel kinda nervous for tonight. I mean this is a big night. It's also the first time norman and I have done an interview together as an engaged couple. Most the fans reactions were nothing but positive, but there were some negatives. Norman came and grabbed my hand as he lead me out to the stage. We were escorted to the couch and were applauded by the small audience. Chris joined us in the chair across from us. Norman had kept his hand in mine the entire time as the interview started.

"Hi my name is chris hardwick and welcome to the talking dead. Tonight's guests I have daryl and Lilly themselves norman reedus and the very lovely kayla rolfes." Chris started.

The crowd cheered as we both waved. Chris continued,

"First I just wanna say congrats to the both of you!"

"Thank you" we both smiled.

"I gotta say norman I never thought I'd see the day" Chris said.

"Me either man, but it just kinda happened. She chose me" he said causing the audience to awe.

I blushed and chris smiled,"well now that the video of the engagement has been released I have to know, kayla what in the world possessed you to say yes"

The crowd laughed and norman playfully stuck his middle finger at Chris causing me to laugh harder,

"I mean how could you not!" Everyone laughed as I continued,"" no but in All honesty. Last year If you told me all this would be happening I would've told you to get some help. I was a huge fan of his before this. He's helped me through so many things without even knowing I existed and now I get to help him. He's everything to me"

The crowd awed again and norman kissed my hand.

"Alright now that we got all the lovey dovey stuff out of the way, let's talk about that episode. Woo! It was a dramatic one. Why don't you give us your thoughts norman? How is your character handling this?" Chris asked.

"Well I think since daryl really didn't care about anyone else other than Merle, this is going to really effect him. He has someone He cares for deeply being taken from him. In honesty I think it's a fate worse than her dying to him. Just knowing Lilly is alive but was taken and who knows what the hell is happening to her is going to eat daryl alive" norman answered.

"O yea and kayla your thoughts?" He asked.

"Well I believe leading up to this moment we've seen a new side of Lilly. When she was first introduced, you didn't know anything about her and she was hard. Daryl has broken that. They depend on each other so without one, it'll be hard for the other to cope especially in whatever situation she's in now" I answered.

"Do you know what situation she is in now?" Chris asked.

"In all honesty chris I don't" I laughed.

"Well damn" he laughed,

"So norman how was filming this scene, was it easier to show more emotion when you put yourself in daryls shoes knowing that was your fiancé taken?"

"Yea definitely. I mean I'm no good at crying on spot, but knowing it was her and if that moment was real. I don't know what I would do so yea it made things easier." Norman answered.

"Alright so before the show you two said you have an announcement to make and I can't wait any longer. I have to know" he said excitedly clapping his hand together.

My breathing hitched and norman squeezed my hand and smirked,

"Well see chris there was a reason for that episode."

"Yes?" He anticipated.

"Well I am goin to be taking a break for a little while" I smiled.

Chris's eyes widened,"why!"

Norman chuckled at his reaction, "I'm gonna be a dad again"

Chris's mouth dropped as the audience started going crazy in cheers.

"No fucking way! Damn I just said fucking on the air! Ya know what I don't care! This is amazing!" He exclaimed jumping up and giving me a hug.

Once the cheering died down he asked,"wow...this is just amazing. When are you due!"

"In May" I smiled.

"So you won't be on till next season" he said.

"Yea it was that or to kill off the character and both Robert and I definitely didn't want that so we found another way" I smiled.

"Ya just kidnap the girl" Chris joked causing everyone to laugh, "but no in all seriousness I'm very excited for you guys and I'm very happy they aren't killing Lilly off and we get to see what happens to her."

"Thank you" I smiled.

"Alright well that's all the time we have. I want to thank norman and kayla for being on the show and sharing that exciting news. Tune in next week for more of the talking dead! Goodnight!" Chris announced to the cameras and hugged onto me and norman again.
