A dream becomes reality (norman reedus fan fiction)

Something smart

Kayla's pov

I stood there completely frozen and confused. Why wasn't he in costume? I looked around and saw other cast and crew encircled around him smiling widely. Mingus was there too. Did I miss something? I turned and looked towards the two walker extras who had stopped chasing me and moved to the side with everyone else. The only cameras that were filming were people's cell phones. Norman just smiled nervously and walked up to me. He stood infront of me and took my hand.

"What's going on?" I asked nervously.

"I lied" he said.

I arched an eyebrow and asked,"what?"

"There really was no scene that rob needed you to film, none of that was real." He said.

No wonder why no one was telling me why the scene was needed. I looked over at Robert who just had a huge smile on his face. I immediately went back to Norman's eyes. He seemed nervous, but why?

"Ok? What's going on?" I asked.

"Kayla I always had this code that I would never get serious with someone, but then you came and just completely blew that away. When rob told me a fan was gonna be his new intern, I didn't think nothing of it until I met you at Lauren's party. I couldn't get you off my mind from that night since."

I was shaking as he continued,"meeting your family and how you are with Mingus sealed the deal for me. I didn't need anyone else and I couldn't be more excited to be starting a family with you. When you were in that coma, I knew I couldn't live without you so I asked yer dad a question. He answered yes to that question which led up to this moment."

My eyes widened and I felt like I couldn't breathe. No way. This wasn't happening. He wasn't doing what I think he is. He fumbled with something in his pocket. I about passed out when he lowered himself onto one knee. Tears spilled over my cheeks as I bagan to cry like a baby as he kept hold of my hand as my other hand was brought to my mouth.

"When we met your family, everyone kept telling me how big of a fan you were of mine. That may be true, but kayla I am the biggest fan of yours. Will you please marry me?" He asked pulling out a gorgeous ring.

I had to blink a few times and felt like I needed to pinch myself cause this had to be a dream. No way this was real. I was shaking like a mad man. I looked around at everyone and saw the smiling faces and phones pointed towards us. I looked back down to norman. I could barely speak as I choked out,

"Yes"

He smiled and slid the ring on my finger as everyone erupted in cheers. Norman stood up and wrapped me in his arms and swung me around in his arms as I sobbed. He set me back down and kissed me forcefully. We were soon swarmed by the cast with hugs and kisses on the cheek. Mingus attacked me tightly with a hug. I held back equally hard. He was going to be my son! Lauren and Andy hugged me tightly after. I still couldn't believe this was happening . Congratulations filled the room and when Robert came over to me I laughed,

"damn you! I thought you were goin crazy or something! That scene was useless!"

he shrugged and laughed,"now you know to not question me. There's always a reason behind my madness"

i smiled and hugged onto him.

"alright! Alright! Give the two some space! I wanna get a picture!" Steven yelled over everyone.

everyone backed up and I saw he had Norman's phone. Norman pulled me into his chest and we took the picture. We started to break off when Mingus yelled,

"wait! I want one!"

It surprised me a bit but we posed again as Mingus took out his phone and took a picture. As he was putting his phone away norman said,

"hey come get in the picture with us Ming!"

He smiled and nodded as he ran up to us and stood in front of us while Steven took another picture.

A few more pictures were taken, including one of us with the whole cast behind us. Then Lauren wanted a selfie with me. I looked terrible in all these pictures! My face reddened from the tears and the shock.

"We should celebrate!" Andy exclaimed causing a cheer of "yeahs!" Coming from the cast.

norman and I agreed as I said,"alright! Just let me go get out of costume seeing I never needed to be in costume anyways!"

everyone laughed and norman kissed me one more time before I made my way back to my trailer. I couldn't stop myself from starring at my left hand thinking that any moment it would disappear and I would wake up from this dream, but it wasn't. This was real. Everything was real. I was going to be mrs.norman mark reedus and I was having his baby. Once I got changed I started to head out when my phone started buzzing like a madman with twitter notifications. First was Norman's.
