Kayla's pov

We arrived to set early the next morning to go over the scenes we were shooting today. Mingus went with norman so he could get ready. I was sitting in the make up chair as I was being made into Lilly. This would be the last time I sat in this chair for atleast 10 more months. The last time I would get to work with my friends for nearly a year. I mean I know I would be visiting a lot by coming to the set with norman to watch him, but it wouldn't be the same. I had mixed emotions. Sure I was upset, but at the same time I was happy. Knowing the next time I got to do this I would have a beautiful baby of my own waiting on me to come home. I smiled and placed a hand on my barely noticeable bump. When I was done I turned to violet who was my make up artist. She smiled at me and had a few tears in her eyes. I smiled and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you" I whispered.

"I'm going to miss you so much" she whispered back.

I smiled and she smiled back,"you're going to make a great mom"

"Thanks" I said fighting back my own tears.

"Now go out there and get yerself kidnapped" she joked.

I chuckled,"will do" and left the trailor.

I started my way to set when I heard someone call out my name. I turned and saw Mingus running towards me so I stopped and waited for him to catch up,

"What's up?" I smiled.

"You going to the set?" He asked as we started walking.

"Yeah I thought you were with your dad?" I asked.

"Eh it got boring watching him get made up" he laughed.

"Well I'm sure chandler is playing video games in his trailor if ya want" I smiled.

"Nah, ya mind if I just chill with you?" He asked.

This caught me completely off guard but it also made me feel really good as I nodded,"sure thing bud"

"So you and my dad seem to be getting pretty serious" he started to say.

"Why the sudden interest in mine and your dads relationship?" I asked.

"No reason" he smiled and looked away.

I knew there was definitely more to that, but I decided not to question it,"yah I like to think so."

"Good" he smiled.

"Why you say that?" I asked.

"Cause I like havin ya around" he blushed.

I smiled and ruffled his hair causing him to chuckle.

"Hey!" We both heard someone yell.

We stopped and saw norman as daryl walking towards us. My heart still pounded seeing my favorite character walking towards me. Still couldn't believe he was mine and I was pregnant with his child. Norman reached us and kissed me quickly and looked down at his son,

"Where'd ya go? I went and got changed and ya were gone"

Mingus shrugged,"got bored so I went to find kayla"

Norman's eyes widened,"really?"

"Yea" he smiled.

Norman looked back at me and I just smiled. He smiled and turned back to Mingus,"tonight kayla and I gotta talk to ya ok? So don't make any plans"

"Ok" Mingus said.

I knew what talk norman wanted to have with him. He wanted to tell him about the baby which made me nervous. I couldn't think about that though, I had a scene to do.

Norman grasped my hand as we began walking again,

"Ya ready for today?"

"Yah I guess" I smiled.

"I'm supposed ta cry at the end. I suck at making myself cry" he joked.

"Think of something sad" I said.

"Still can't. I just can't cry on spot" he said.

"You'll think of something" I said giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

We all 3 walked down to the the house set. The whole cast was there to watch again. Mingus went and stood by Robert as norman and I took our places.

"Action!" Robert yelled.

Walkers began pushing against the door daryl was blocking,

D:Lilly!"

Lilly runs and sees what's going on. Eyes widen. Daryl struggles with the door

D:grab the stuff and go out the back door!

L:not without you!

Daryls footing begins to slip

D:dammit! Lilly go! I'll be right behind ya babe!

Lilly hesitates and finally runs and grabs her bag and runs out the back door. Daryl can no longer hold the door shut as he makes a run for his crossbow. He grabs it and shoots 3 walkers and then runs out the back door. He looks for tracks of Lilly as he runs.

D:lil?

He freezes when he sees her bag on the ground and hears her yell.

L:daryl!

His eyes shoot up and sees her being thrown into a car by an unknown person.

D:Lilly!

Daryl yells and starts after the car.

D:Lilly no!

Daryl loses the car as it starts to rain. He has no idea where to go. He paces in the street in denial and finally drops his crossbow and falls to the ground with tears down his face

"Cut! That's a wrap!" Robert yells.

I was brought back in the car and everyone began clapping immediately as I stepped out. Tears filled my eyes as I was embraced with hugs from everyone. Finally norman and Mingus made their way to me. I noticed tears on Norman's face. He was actually crying? Damn he's a good actor. I smiled and wiped it with my thumb,

"I thought you said you can't cry on cue?"

"Normally can't but when it comes ta ya being taken from me, it was easier to believe it." He said.

I smiled and kissed him as I felt my waist embraced. I looked down and saw Mingus hugging me. I smiled and norman starred down at his son with pride. Later that night norman and I had taken Mingus to the lake again. We all 3 sat under the willow tree that we did last time eating sandwiches we packed. Norman had me pulled up with my back against his chest. Mingus finished his sandwich and asked,

"Alright what did you two want to tell me?"

My breathing hitched and my eyes widened. Norman squeezed my hand and I looked back at him worried. He smiled and kissed my nose. I sighed and turned back to Mingus as norman said,

"Ming yer gonna be a big brother"
