3 weeks later Norman's pov

i wake up in my apartment to the smell of cinnamon and bacon filling the room. I wipe my eyes and sit up looking at the spot next to me to see it empty. i sighed and smirked a little as I rolled lazily out of bed. I walked down the short hallway to the kitchen area and saw kayla. I leaned against the wall and crossed my arms,

"yer damn stubborn ya know that?"

She jumped a little causing me to chuckle. She smirked and went back to cooking,

"you've kept me laid in that bed for about 3 weeks now, I can't take it anymore"

i chuckled and shook my head as I made my way to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind and place my hand on the little bulge of her stomach.

"Pancakes are almost done, bacon is on the table, and coffee is brewing" she smiled.

i kissed her cheek and let to of her to go get some coffee. As I was pouring it I asked,

"what's the occasion?"

she was dishing up the pancakes and smiled,"we get to go back to work today"

i smiled about how excited she was to get back to set, but I was also beyond nervous what Robert was going to do when he found out she was pregnant. He may not take it as well as the rest of the cast did. The whole cast was ecstatic and are already planning baby showers,parties, and buying things for it. Lilly is a main character now and I was terrified he'd kill her off and I know for a fact that would kill her. I sighed and decided to keep my thoughts to myself for now. No matter what I'd be there for her. We sat down at the table and began eating. We were silent for a few minutes until she asked,

"so Mingus is coming in tomorrow right?"

i nodded. I had asked Helena to keep him for a few more weeks while kayla healed and gave us some time to get back on track of things. She smiled and the sighed.

"what?" I asked.

"I'm nervous to meet him. What if he doesn't like me?" She asked.

i chuckled,"trust me Ming will love ya"

"what about breaking the baby news to him?" She asked.

"well he had always bothered me for a little brother or sister so I'm thinkin he'll take it pretty well" I said.

she smiled and nodded as we finished eating and got dressed. We made it to set about a half hour later.

kaylas pov

my heart was pounding on the drive to set. I was so scared to talk to Robert. As we arrived at the set, the prison came into view. I got a warm feeling and butterflies filled my stomach. I was home. I smiled really wide as I felt norman take my hand and squeeze it. Once we parked, I stepped outside and was immediately welcomed with the heat of the Georgia sun. The breeze blew through my hair as the smell of the grass filled my nose. I was so happy to be back. Norman walked over to my side and took my hand in his as we walked to Roberts office. There was no filming for the next few weeks, just script writing and read throughs. As we reached Roberts door I gulped louder than I meant to. Norman noticed and squeezed my hand. I looked over at him trying to hide the worry in my eyes, but I know he saw it. He leaned in and kissed me softly as he knocked on the door. Seconds later Robert opened it with a huge smile on his face,

"Norman! Kayla! Come in!"

we smiled and made our way into the office. He closed the door behind us and grabbed onto me to hug me. I smiled and hugged him back. He pulled out of the hug and shook Norman's hand as we sat down in the chairs infront of his desk. He went to the chair behind it and sat down smiling at us,
