Kayla's pov

smiles filled both of our faces as the cool breeze blew through my hair. I played with my ring and lay against the chest of my soon to be husband and father to our baby girl. A girl! A baby girl! I thought I was excited when I met norman, but nothing has ever been this exciting to me. It was peaceful as we lay under the willow trees by the lake. That was our favorite spot. We both had said nothing since we found out the gender, we just held each other.

"A girl" I smiled.

"yea" I could hear him smile from behind me.

"I can't believe it" I breathed out.

"me neither. Hell I can't believe any of this" he said.

"it's pretty crazy" I chuckled.

"yea it is" he agreed and squeezed me tighter while kissing my head.

"you think Ming will be ok with this?" I asked.

"he'll have to be. I mean I know he was looking forward to the reedus men ruling the world" he chuckled.

"no doubt in my mind that you two could still rule the world" I chuckled

"hell yea we could and at the end of the day we could come home to our two beautiful girls" he smiled.

i turned and smiled at him, leaning into kiss him. Once we pulled away I snuggled back into his chest and just listened to the water. He broke the silence a few minutes later,

"so we gonna start talkin bout names yet?"

i looked up at him and arched an eyebrow,"you want to?"

"well I was wonderin if you had any ideas?" He asked.

"I don't know. What about you?" I asked.

"well I guess finding out its a girl means norman jr is out of the question huh?" He smirked.

my mouth fell open as I started to laugh,"yes definitely"

"damn" he joked,"why not?"

"norman jr is not a girls name!" I laughed.

"we could make it one" he smirked.

"how in the world can you make norman jr a girls name!" I exclaimed.

he thought for a minute and he smirked,"I got it!"

"oh can't wait to hear this one" I said.

"Norma" he said proudly.

my eyes widened and I busted out in laughter,"no way in hell are we naming our daughter Norma! Do you want her to hate you!"

"fine fine"he chuckled,"you got any bright ideas?"

i smirked and then looked back out towards the water. Hearing the waves crash on the shoreline and yen feeling the breeze blow through my hair as the sun shown through the willow trees we sat under. I looked up at the tree and closed my eyes and took in everything. My eyes widened with an idea. The perfect idea,

"willow"

"what?" He asked.

i turned to him and smiled, "her name. Willow."

"where'd you get that name from?" He asked.

"well if you think about it all the good times and some of our best memories have been underneath this willow tree. You took me here for our first date, it's where I hung out with Mingus for the first time, it's where we told him he was going to be a big brother, it where we've come to escape the world and just be together. You and me." I smiled.

his bright blue eyes searched mine before leaning in and kissing me passionately. When he pulled away, he rested his forehead on mine,

"I love it"

"really?" I asked pulling my forehead away.

he smiled,"yea willow reedus, it fits"

i smiled and nodded as I snuggled up against him,"it's better than norma"

he chuckled and said,"ok ok I get it. Norma was a terrible idea."

i smiled and closed my eyes as I lay my head against his chest as I smelled his cologne. Damn did he smell good.

"what about middle name?" He suddenly asked.

"one name at a time reedus" I smirked and felt his chest rise as he laughed and started playing with my hair.

"alright" he whispered and I felt him lay his his head on mine.

I smiled and within minutes I had called asleep on his chest thinking nothing but my family and my willow.
