Chapter 32

Norman's pov

Anger flew throughout my body. I was seriously seeing red as I fought to not shake. I know it shouldn't be bothering me as much as it was, but that Daniel prick is lucky he got out of there when he did. The way he was looking at kayla disgusted me! Then he had the nerve to say those things to her! What the fuck? Who does that! Also he kissed her! He kissed my girl! I was so pissed. As we were led back to our booths to meet more fans, I know I needed to calm down, but the whole scene kept repeating in my mind. I didn't even want to meet any more fans today, I just wanted to leave with her. I felt her eyes on me, but I ignored em. I just couldn't look at her right now. I know by no means was it her fault, but seeing her just made it worse. When that prick said those things to her, the fear in her eyes made me feel like I wasn't doin my job. I was suppose to protect her. I knew some fans were crazy, but not that crazy. I felt like I let her down. About two hours later we were breaking for lunch. The three of us were led back to the back area and I felt kayla grab my hand. I put my raybands over my eyes and felt her squeeze my hand, but I still couldn't bring myself to look at her. I noticed Sean's confused expression. I heard kayla sigh and then say,

"I'll need to make a call, I'll be right back"

Sean said,"alright love"

I noticed she looked at me from the side of my eyes. I didn't look at her again and just nodded. i heard her sigh and her hand left mine instantly making it feel cold. I hated what I was doin to her, but I couldn't stop. I was being an idiot. Once we both heard the door slam that she went through Sean asked,

"Hey what's going on?"

I looked at him like I didn't know what the hell he was talkin about,"what ya mean?"

"Don't pull that shit with me norman, I'm you're best friend, I know when something's up. This morning you were all over her and now you're acting like the poor girl doesn't exist. What happened? She fuck something up?" He asked.

I immediately turned to him,"no she didn't do anything"

"Than what's wrong?" He asked.

I sighed,"some guy in our op was a real creep. Basically told her he wants to fuck er and then kissed er in the op and I couldn't do shit. You shoulda seen er eyes sean. Scared, disturbed and I couldn't do nothin about it."

"You know there's gonna be creeps. We both knew that" he said.

"I know, it just bothered me and I feel like shit I couldn't do nothin other than tell him to get lost" I said shaking my head.

"Well man if ya think about it, a lot of people think she's still single. You two haven't exactly came out publicly" he said.

I starred at him thinking. I knew he was right. I sighed and said,"I know. It just really bothered me"

" I know but we both know you or me ain't gonna let anyone touch her. If we see that guy again, we'll throw him out. But norman you need to stop doin that to her. The look in her eyes that she just had a few minutes ago was disturbing. You need to go out ther end make things right before ya lose her man and I don't want to see that. She's the first good one you've had in a while." He reassured.

I nodded and said,"alright. I'll be right back"

"Good and hurry it up! I'm hungry!" He joked.

I rolled my eyes and turned to walk the way kayla went when something stopped me in my tracks and made my blood run cold. Goosebumps filled my body and I became completely frozen when I heard what sounded like kayla yell,

"Norman!!!"

I looked back to sean quickly who's eyes were about as wide and with fear as mine were. Without a second thought we both ran towards the scream.
