"You're dismissed. Don't forget that in two weeks, you will be presenting your business case. It will take 50% of your grade for this semester." The terror professor looked intently into the eyes of her students. "I will be asking the help of some of the seniors to judge your presentations."
The students groaned in unison, stressed over the fact that exams were nearly approaching yet their professors still flooded them with projects and homework.
Clara was one of the few students who continued to remain calm that moment. Mabilis na inayos ng dalaga ang kanyang mga gamit at agad na lumabas ng kanilang silid-aralan upang magtungo sa cafeteria, since it was already lunch time.
As she exited the room, she saw a boy waiting for her.
"Clara." It was Vicente, giving her a sweet smile. "Did you have lunch already? A few of the girls were even raising their eyebrows, obviously envious of her.
Gutom na ang dalaga noong mga panahong iyon ngunit ayaw niyang makasama ang binata, let alone the other seniors. "I already ate, Vic." Agad siyang naglakad palayo dito.
"W-wait." Humabol ito sa kanya. "Saan ka papunta? Let me help you with your books."
She said without looking in his eyes.
As expected, she rejected him each and every time.
Vic watched her walk away, and despite the many rejections he got, he still managed to smile genuinely while watching her back.
Alexa, one of Vic's classmates, scoffed and rolled her eyes when Vic was not looking. "Let's just ignore her, Vic. She intertwined her arm around Vic's and almost dragged him.
He was smiling on the outside, but deep down, he wanted to get rid of Alexa.

"Clara! Wait!" A female voice called Clara.
It was Macy, her classmate since last year. Her messy hair surrounded her face, and her thick glasses were almost falling down her nose.
Tulad niya, tahimik lamang din ang dalaga. Clara behaved like that by choice, because she was a Kataha, and she did not want to invest emotions on any ordinary human. On the other hand, Macy was a painfully shy and awkward girl.
